Ph.D. program in Health Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by the JIS University, Kolkata.

Specialization in (3D bioprinting & Polymer Sci., Nanotechnology, Drug Design & Delivery, Biosensors, Corrosion Science, Water Purification, Paint and Coating Technology, Nanomedicine).


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates qualifying for national-level exams such as CSIR/ UGC/ DBT/ ICMR/ GATE/ INSPIRE/ JGEEBILS/ RGNF are given a preference in PhD admissions after completion of relevant Master Degree courses.
