Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed the secondary school certificate examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune or any other equivalent examination with

General science or Physics and Chemistry
Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry and
English with at least 35% marks in aggregate if he is not a backward class candidate and in case of backward class candidate of Maharashtra state at least 35 percent marks in aggregate.

Note: The term ‘aggregate marks’ used here shall mean as follows.

Admission Details

Admission is made strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates as per the rules laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education M.S. Mumbai from time to time.
