Jyoti Nivas College (JNC) is located in the highly upmarket area of Koramangala in South Central Bangalore. jyoti Nivas College (JNC) is a very old institute but the PG blocks have been recently started just 4 to 5 years ago. The campus is not huge or anything but it’s sufficiently big to not complain about. Academic facilities like the library, classrooms, projectors, and internet are all well maintained. Placements aren’t something to boast about as the college manages to place only around 5-7 students out of a batch of 60 students. But students claim that placements are improving. There are just 3 permanent faculty members but the students don’t seem to mind that as a lot of visiting faculty keep coming in. And their industry exposure coupled with fantastic teaching skills.Being an only girls college, it has its own advantages and disadvantages. Majority of the girls are freshers from the commerce background (B.Com, BBM & BBA graduates).

"I adore Jyoti Nivas. I think it's one of the best oppourtunities in education that any college student has. The professors I had were amazing and really push you. They are available for mentorship if you apply yourself and have a keen interest in their academic area. This college has given me so many opportunities and has thought me to be an independent woman. One of the few colleges for women in India. Going to JNC was my best decision ever.
