66 MonthsBachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing the 4 and 1/2 year academic session and a one-year internship program offered by the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates are required to pass Class 12th or equivalent examination with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognized state/central board.
- He/she should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or as on 31st December of the respective year. Not more than 25 years on or before the 31st December of the respective year of admission in the first year of the course.
- An aspirant from the general category needs to secure an aggregate of 50% in their Class 12th Board examination. While for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentage is 40%.
Admission Details
Candidates need to have qualified NEET by securing the minimum qualifying cutoff percentile to get admission in the BAMS course. Admission to BAMS courses will be taken on the basis of the NEET-UG score and the corresponding rank. Therefore, candidates are required to qualify for NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). In order to take admitted to the BAMS course, candidates are required to secure the NEET cutoff percentile.
