48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a +2 Science background conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Orissa or equivalent examination recognized by BPUT are admitted to the B. Tech Programme through the rank attained in JEE, Orissa. 85% of the seats are filled through the entrance tests, and the remaining 15% of seats under the NRI quota are filled on merit at the institute level. Diploma holders and science graduates are also eligible for direct admission into the IInd year B.Tech. Courses under the lateral entry scheme as per the rules of the Government of Orissa & the relevant Joint Entrance Examination.
Admission Details
For the admission process, the Institute follows the guidelines of admission rules/procedure prescribed by the Joint Entrance Examination, Orissa, for its regular courses. Candidates not qualified in JEE shall not be allowed admission.
