Kalam Institute of Technology, Berhampur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Two separate hostels for boys are housed on the campus. All facilities are provided for the students in the hostel to include a reading room; playground, indoor games facility, etc.

The College Two separate hostels for the girl students are available in Berhampur Town. Students from other States and distant locations are staying in the Hostel. They are provided with Tables, Chairs, Cots, etc., and a reading room with newspapers, magazines, and provisions for indoor games.

The College A Medical Centre and telephone facilities are also available in the campus Facility.

The College Central Library with Digital Library facility of the Institute is presently located on the Ground Floor of the main building. It has a collection of 18,000 text and reference books, 25 nos. of National and International periodicals and journals, and an adequate facility of technical magazines and newspapers that support the academic development of students.

The College students make use of the open PlayGround by indulging in different games and sports activities during the playtime facility.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college KIT canteen is a fully modernized cafeteria backed by well-experienced cooks providing nutritious and hygienic meals, different types of dishes, and snacks. The canteen is equipped with all modern utensils and automatic machines to cook and serve. All provisions of hygienic basic amenities such as Drinking Water, Rest Rooms, Telephone facilities, etc. are made available in the canteen premises for the perusal of its users.

The college provides an excellent ambiance for national and international level conferences and seminars. Its Central Convention Centre Complex houses a world-class Auditorium having a seating capacity of 1000, besides a Guest House with 5-star facilities, Conference Halls, Exhibition Ground, and Banquet Hall. In the regular interval, different types of activities are being conducted inside the auditorium.

The Institute has 22 buses, each having 45 seating capacity. Comfortable transport facilities for the students and staff to the campus from Berhampur city have been ensured to maintain punctuality in academic activities.

The Institute has set up an 8 Mbps broad-band Internet facility fitted with Wi-Fi equipment so that the internet is accessible from all places on the campus. This general facility is useful for both the students and the faculty members.

The College department has 15 eminent faculty members(2 Professors & 13 Assistant Professors) with eight student computing laboratories for teaching, general computing, and final year projects.

The college is also having good classroom facilities for all the students. 

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
