LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram was set up in 2001 is a women’s winged institution which gives a great platform for women to learn and develop their technical abilities. Saji A. C. is affiliated college situated near Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala covering a land area of 5 acres. The institute is affiliated to AICT and has ug enrolled strength of 1223 where the total engineering faculty strength is 63. Also called LBSITW, it offers 12 courses in three levels of degree education, with key focus on engineering disciplines.
A number of contemporary amenities are available in the institute to complement academic activities. On its core, rooms, there is a LBSITW with a library occupying 6400 sq ft which has more than 17700 volumes and 8016 titles. LIBSOFT oversees the library’s digital support, which makes resource accessibility possible. To support practical learning, the college offers departmental laboratories and a computer laboratory for online tests on up to 280 systems. Located in serene Thiruvananthapuram, the LBS Institute of Technology for Women (LBSITW) is well-known for imparting high-quality technical education to women of the society. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in different fields of engineering. The LBS Institute of Technology for Women admission programme aims at selecting the most deserving and meritorious female candidates among the various options provided. There are six B.Tech programmes offered by LBSITW include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Computer Engineering. LBS Institute of Technology for Women admission to these programmes is determined by the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, KEAM. There are a total of 420 available seats in the various B.Tech programmes, with Computer Science and Engineering having the largest intake of 180 seats.
The two M.Tech programmes that are provided in the institute are Computer Science and Engineering and Signal Processing. Each programme has an approved intake of 24.
