LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram Fees 2027

The academic program is well-structured and covers essential theory and practical aspects of every course in a balanced manner. Professors are knowledgeable and mostly accessible outside class for doubts and guidance. Labs and assignments reinforce classroom learning, and there are occasional guest lectures that bring real-industry perspective. Course materials are updated fairly regularly to reflect recent developments. However, occasional delays in syllabus completion and some gaps in bridging between theory and practical application are felt. Despite that, the overall academic environment supports learning and helps build a solid foundation for further education or career pathways.

The college offers a spacious, well-laid out campus with modern classrooms equipped with projectors and reliable Wi-Fi that extends to labs, hostel areas and common zones. The laboratories are adequately stocked with functioning equipment necessary for our course, supporting both practical sessions and project work. The central library is spacious, well-lit and offers good seating capacity along with essential reference books and digital resources. Hostels are reasonably maintained: rooms are clean, water and electricity supply is stable, and common washrooms are cleaned regularly. The canteen serves hygienic food in a tidy environment. There are a few areas for improvement — some classrooms could use smart-boards instead of only projectors, and hostel rooms are a bit cramped when fully occupied. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic learning and student life quite well.

The placement cell arranges regular campus recruitment drives with a decent number of companies across different sectors visiting for hiring. A good portion of students secure placements — many in relevant roles aligned with their discipline. The college also provides support in the form of mock interviews, resume feedback, and career-preparation workshops. Internships are fairly available and sometimes lead to pre-placement job offers. However, not every department gets equal placement opportunities, and packages are modest, which may not fully meet student expectations.

Faculty are highly professional and supportive. They are committed to helping students understand the subjects thoroughly. They use presentations, experiments, and practical sessions to make classes more engaging. Faculty members also guide students on career options and skill development. The mentorship system helps students get personal attention and advice when needed. They encourage students to participate in technical fests, hackathons, and paper presentations to boost their confidence.

My college was a modern and secure campus, ideal for focused learning. The college provides well-equipped classrooms, updated computer labs, and department-specific laboratories. The library is large, peaceful, and offers both physical and online resources. Hostel facilities are good and safe, with proper food and 24-hour security. The college also offers Wi-Fi access, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and a well-maintained canteen. The environment is pollution-free and green, making it a comfortable place for students.

Placements support is strong and student-oriented. The training and placement cell organizes career guidance sessions, aptitude practice, and interview preparation programs. Leading IT and electronics companies visit the campus each year, and students receive good job offers. The average package lies between ₹3 to ₹4.5 LPA, depending on the branch and performance. Many students also get internships during their final year, which helps them gain real-world experience. The overall placement process is smooth.

Faculty are main strength of my college. They are well-educated, approachable, and always ready to help students. Teachers focus on practical learning rather than just theory, and they regularly update the teaching methods based on new technology trends. The professors guide students through projects, mini-assignments, and industry interactions. They are also supportive when students face academic or personal challenges. Faculty involvement in career and personal guidance builds a strong relationship between teachers and students.

Hostel facilities are safe and well managed, and the mess serves good food.

Students undergo various training programs to improve communication, problem-solving, and technical skills. Reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture visit the college every year. Many students get placed with packages between ₹3 and ₹5 LPA, and some secure internships that turn into full-time jobs. The placement department also assists students who wish to pursue higher studies or government exams.
