I had a good experience in college. It provided me with great infrastructure as well as good learning exposure. The faculty is very experienced and was always ready to help me out with any kind of problem. My college was a day college and thus, had no hostels. All the students were day scholars. As a whole it was a great experience.

You'll be taught by Highly qualified teachers for every honors and electives. Societies for extracurricular activities will keep you busy throughout your 3 years in college. Loreto College , Kolkata was founded in 1912 . It is a women college affiliated to the Calcutta University . It was the first college in West Bengal , India , to be assessed by NAAC which awared the college with the highest rating of 5 stars in 2000 . It was reaccredited in 2006 by NAAC and was certified as an A grade college . I feel proud to be part of such an prestigious heritage college . The Loreto College campus is worthy of praise . Being built in the British Era , this buildling still stands sturdy and strong , all rooms are big and spacious . The lawn , corridors , washroom etc are kept neat and clean at all times of th day . With concert hall , auditorium , canteen etc the college can boast of a good infrastructure. Loreto college has an excellent faculty . All teachers of all departments are well qualified , knowledgeable and experienced to be in this profession and impart quality education . Loreto has shown high acadmic performance consistently . Along with academics , college also focus on extracurricular and rcreational activities . There are many societies which students are encouraged to be members of - sports , drama ,dance , debate , social service and so on .Students can use a large airy common room well stocked with up to date gym equipments , table tennis , carrom and also piano . The Placement cell provides information regarding job prospects and opportunities for progression to Higher studies in India and abroad . Campus presentations and interviews are regularly conducted .

Its fun , its knowledgeable ., its a friendly atmosphere , I love my college ..only thing is I want it to become more practical and less of theoretical .my teachers are good , friend circle is amazing , we are taken out for trips , departmental picnics and a lot more along with academics ..

My college is the best place to be for career orientated students. The environment very much favors the student to bring about the best in her. Teachers are also very supportive and approachable. the principal is very encouraging and enthusiastic about students taking part in other activities as well as studies. The regular assembly and the fact that we have to write absent notes is irritating. Sometimes the rules and regulations get on nerves but all in all like my college
