Loreto is an old and well reputed college in Park street, Kolkata which is well known especially for its departments like English and Geography departments and B.Ed department. The professors don't like us to mug up any thing they want us to understand the syllabus .

Hello student,

Loreto College Kolkata is one of the oldest and good private Institute which provides good quality education and it is only for women. There are different kinds of courses available here including BA BSC MSC bed. Actually you have not mentioned about which course you are talking about and about which course is structured you want to know. But however on an average for any BA course the course fee is near about 60k in total. For BSC course it is near about 62 k. The bed course costs about 52k. Sir, I have passed this year with 87% in aggregate and scored 80 in English. So can I get admission in Loreto college, Kolkata?

To get admission in Loreto College, Kolkata, there is a different criteria for each degree.

For English (Hons.)-

English A/Elective- 75% aggregate marks is required, and 60% in best four subjects including English, and excluding compulsory Environmental Ed./St.

English B/Core- 75% aggregate marks is required, and 60% in best four subjects including English, and excluding compulsory Environmental Ed./St.

For Honors in any one of- Geography/History/Political Science/Education/Psychology/Economics-

60% aggregate marks is required, and 60% in the best four subjects including English and excluding compulsory Environmental Ed./St.

If you have the eligibility for any of the course mentioned above that you want to study, you can definitely get admission in Loreto College, Kolkata.

Besides, you have scored quite good at HSC level, and with 87% in aggregate, you must get admission. Check out the aggregate marks in your best four subjects. If it matches the eligibility criteria, you should definitely get admission in the college.
