    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science, Latur Admission Process

    The Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science, Latur (MINS) is a well-known institution for nursing education. The MINS admission procedure is structured in place to screen qualified candidates and offers several nursing courses. MINS provides four specialised courses in nursing at both the bachelor's degree and diploma levels.

     MINS admission process normally commences in April and continues till October, depending upon the programme. MINS admissions in the Basic B.Sc. Nursing programmes are made based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test conducted by the National Testing Agency. Eligibility criteria vary by programme but generally require completion of 10+2 with specific subject combinations.

    • Qualify for the NEET exam conducted by NTA.
    • Apply through DMER Maharashtra counselling.
    • Attend counselling and choose MINS as an institute.
    • If allocated, report to MINS for completing admission formalities.

    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science Basic B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Application Process

    • Obtain an application form from MINS (from April to August).
    • Fill in the application form with proper details.
    • Upload the application form with all the required documents, as well as the application fee.
    • Wait for the merit list.
    • If selected, then follow the procedure for admission to the institute.

    To apply for a course, you must first meet its eligibility requirements. The detailed admission process is given below:

    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science Basic B.Sc. Nursing Admission Process

    MINS conducts two B.Sc Nursing courses: Basic B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing, both with 50 seats. Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science admission to the Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is through NEET and DMER counselling. While 85% of the seats (42) are filled by DMER, 15% (8 seats) are for NRI candidates admitted by the management. For B.Sc. Nursing admissions are made based on merit in the qualifying examination. Application forms are normally available from April to August.

    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Admission Process

    Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course has 60 seats and is merit-based admission, which considers the performance in the qualifying examination. The application forms are usually available from April to August, and the admissions are between August and October.

    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science GNM Admission Process

    MINS offers 20 seats for GNM. There is no information about admission details; however, admission is suspected to be merit-based through the qualifying examination, like other courses at MINS.

    Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science Documents Required

    • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
    • NEET score card for Basic B. Sc Nursing
    • Diploma certificate for Post Basic B.Sc nursing
    • If there is any caste certificate, then this also.
    • Domicile certificate
    • Recent passport-size photographs
    • Other documents, as the institute may specify.
