Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology/Biology /Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture / Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per Table 8.4 of Approved Process Handbook of AICTE 2024-27. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
B. Tech (Lateral Entry) to Second Year
Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).
Admission Details
The admission of the first 50% of the seats shall be filled based on merit/rank/score obtained in JEE (Main) of the corresponding year. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled based on the merit of the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test for the corresponding year. The seats remaining vacant after exhausting the merit of JEE (Main) and HPCET will be filled up based on the merit of the 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized board or university.

College Infrastructure
During our batch the classes use to run in the building of JNGEC Sundernagar as the building of our college use to be under construction and has recently been done. Our college had a different block for running classes and labs and everything was well maintained there. But recently our college has also started to run in its own building and our juniors who has shifted there told that the college is beautiful with well modernized classrooms .
