MAK College of Pharmacy, Ranga Reddy Admission Process

MAK College of Pharmacy, Ranga Reddy, India, is an esteemed and trusted institution that commenced its world-class education in pharmaceutical sciences. The college is recognized by PCI: Pharmacy Council of India and has an inclusive admission process according to which the deserving candidates are admitted into a variety of pharmacy programs. Admission procedure takes into account norms of regulatory authority for a fair selection procedure for all the applicants. Admissions are primarily done on the basis of various entrance exams conducted by other bodies. For undergraduate programs, the most important criterion is the TS EAMCET exam which is to be held online from April 28 to April 29, 2025, for Agriculture and Pharmacy courses. 

Admission into a postgraduate program is based on either GPAT or TS PGECET. The correct scheduling of the TS PGECET will occur between June 15 and June 18, 2025, and will be conducted via offline means. Eligibility varies from program to program. For the B.Pharma program, candidates need to complete their 10+2 education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as the primary subjects. Candidates should preferably possess a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university for M.Pharma programs, the college believes in maintaining high academic standards reflected in its selective admission process.

Application Process

There are different application procedures for the programs in MAK College of Pharmacy.

For B.Pharma:

  1. Register and appear for the TS EAMCET exam.
  2. After the results are out, aspirants who qualify can apply through a centralized admissions process.
  3. Complete the application form put up on the site of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).
  4. Submit the required documents, including TS EAMCET score card and 10+2 mark sheet documents, and any applicable certificates.
  5. Remit the application fee, as mentioned.
  6. Wait for a merit list and counseling schedule to be released.
  7. If selected, attend the counseling.
  8. If given allotment, report for verification of documents and admission processes at MAK College of Pharmacy.

For M.Pharma programs:

  1. Take GPAT or TS PGECET.
  2. Register on TS PGECET for the counseling round.
  3. Completing the application form stating academic qualifications and entrance examination scores.
  4. Upload relevant documents inclusive of B.Pharma degree certificate, entrance exam score card, and other certificates.
  5. Pay the prescribed application fees.
  6. Anticipate the merit list to be released.
  7. If shortlisted, attend the counseling according to the schedule.
  8. Report to MAK College of Pharmacy for admission confirmation and subsequent steps given the allotment of seats.

Degree-wise Admission Process 

B.Pharma: MAK College of Pharmacy offers Bachelor of Pharmacy, with an approved intake of 60 students for this undergraduate program. Admission in this four-year course runs on the basis of the TS EAMCET performance of the candidate. Therefore, aptitude in this entrance test will be one of the criteria for admission.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: This post-graduation program deals with advanced pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery systems. It would be based on GPAT/TS PGECET score. Candidates having their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy are eligible for this postgraduate program. Selection would be on the basis of entrance exam score and also marks obtained during the degree.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis: The other specialized postgraduate course offered by the college is primarily analytical approaches in pharmaceutical research. The admission is similar to M.Pharma Pharmaceutics requiring either GPAT or TS PGECET scores.

Typically, required documents for both programs include:

  • Entrance exam score card (TS EAMCET/GPAT/TS PGECET)
  • Degree certificates and mark sheets (10th, 12th, B.Pharma as applicable)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate, if applicable
  • Caste certificate if applicable.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Aadhar card
  • Any other documents specified by the college or admission authority.
