Mangla Devi Smarak Degree College and is a constituent college of Allahabad University, based in the campus of Prayagraj. It provides law programs and teacher training and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The process of admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses from Mangla Devi Smarak Degree College has been made for the applicants who wish to join. Candidates aspiring to join the college will be doing so through admissions which are available for courses of three short full-time duration from different disciplines.

The admission procedure is different as per the program to be joined. For the D.El.Ed programs, admission shall be through merit as determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, combined with the performance in the entrance examination or such other selection processes as determined by the state or UT administration.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA LLB: The five-year integrated BA LLB program at Mangla Devi Smarak Degree College has an intake capacity of 120 seats. Admission procedures are unspecified, but it is highly probable that candidates would have completed 10+2 education from a recognized board, and marks secured in qualifying examination may also consider, perhaps as well as an entrance test.

LLB: A three-year program under the LLB; it has a seat intake of 120. This program generally includes students with a degree from any discipline. The college may consider the performance of the candidates while pursuing their undergraduate degree and may even stipulate an entrance test/interview for final selection.

D.El.Ed: This program has the admission of 100 students. The two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is based on merit, which according to the admission requirement for this course reads: 

Admission through merit would be through Marks obtained in qualifying examination B. Performance in Entrance Examination or any other selection process C. Policy of the State Government or UT Administration.
