Hii

Thank you for choosing career 360, it as a very good platform for those students who wants to pursue their career in research, it offers a 5year integrated Msc course in biology. Students can enter this course after completing 12th through a highly competitively national entrance screening test(NEST). I hope this information helps you.

Thank you

Hey, I am sorry to tell you that NISER does not offer any course in software engineering. For more information you can go through the UG manual - link is shared below:

No he will not get admissions. See NISER is a prestigious institution and if seats were to be filled like this and given to non-qualifiers then there is no point in conducting an exam isnt it? So as far as my knowledge goes, please study well that you can get admissions rather than contemplating on how you can even if you dont qualify.

First of all, these three institutes are purely science institutes. While both IISc and IISER take through JEE Advanced or KVPY (IISc also takes JEE Main scores), NISER takes through NEST. There are no good institutes for nuclear engineering otherwise as it is a niche field considering that only IIT Bombay offers it and that is a 5 year course. JEE Advanced has to be cleared. IIT Bombay offers Energy Engineering with M.Tech. in Energy Systems Engineering (5 Years, Bachelor and Master of Technology (Dual Degree)) and not nuclear engineering as such.

You parents are right as the class 11 & 12 th marks are important. However entry to good institutes are through entrance tests so you will have to prepare for them. It is not a necessity that you should take coaching.

Hey,
NISER
takes admission on the basis of marks scored in NEST Examination. So, according to previous year analysis and trends, an average mark required for admission was 115/200 in case of General Category.

So, candidates who are seeking admission under PwD quota, you need to score approximately 90+ marks for bagging a seat in this premier institution.

Thank You!

Hi,

The National Institute of Science Eduation and Research, Bhubanesgwar was established in 2007. To get an admission in the institute you have to crack NEST(National Entrance Sreening Test) which is a national level exam. It is overall good institute for facilites, faculties(hostel, medical, sports, auditorium, canteen), placements, infrastructure and others. It is improving though in placement and other terms. Hope this helps.

All the best!!

How is LIFE in NISER.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure in NISER is very modern and labs are pretty hi-tech and there are lot of facilities within campus like Shopping Complex, Medical Center, Indoor Sports Arena, Saloon, etc. In a whole you will get every day-to-day necessities within the campus which very few science colleges in our country have. Also the hostel infrastructure is also very good with high speed LAN connection and Outdoor Wi-Fi with good download and upload speed. In a whole, it's perfect.
