To pursue dual degree BSMS you will have to appear for entrance exam conducted by university or jee advanced.

Full form of BSMS is Bachelor of science- Master of science.  It is a dual degree program in many disciplines of science.  The degree MSBS is offered in four subjects - chemistry, Biological Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, mathematics and physics.

Eligibility fot the degree is that the candidate must have passed class xii in science stream with minimum 50% marks.

We can say that It is integrated Bsc and MSc degree in which the candidate doesn't have to see various colleges for master's course.

The course awards both graduate and post graduate degree to the candidate.

It is five years Course.

NIER National institute of education and research , Bhubaneswar offers this course ,fees is 88,250 for Full course .

Other institutes offering the course are

IIT kanpur 1,36,900 per year

IISER 35,000 per semester

Indian Institute of science 18,950 per semester

Different Colleges are best in different subjects.You can follow as mentioned:

(1)PHYSICS: NISER is best in physics.It comes under DAE(Department of Atomic Energy).

Among IISERs, IISER KOLKATA is best in physics.

(2)CHEMISTRY: IISER PUNE is overall good in chemistry. In case of publications, IISER KOLKATA is far ahead now.

(3)BIOLOGY: IISER PUNE is very good in biology.In 2nd number,you can prefer both IISER KOLKATA and IISER MOHALI and in 3rd, IISER BHOPAL and NISER.

(4) MATHEMATICS: I have a little knowledge in case of mathematics. IISER MOHALI is very good in algebraic mathematics.

Some additional points should be noted:

• Fees are very less in NISER.
• You will get 2 years for your M. Sc. project in NISER but it is only one year in IISERs.
• If you have CGPA>7.5 you will get a chance to sit in BARC interview without any exam.
• IISER is an institute of National Importance but NISER not.

So, you first have to decide which is your strong subject and according to that you should take admission to that particular college.
