The college has a placement cell that helps students with all the activities related to the placements needs. NEF Law College placement statistics over the past three years highlight steady growth in opportunities for students across UG (3-year), UG (5-year), and PG levels.

Due to the efforts made by the college in placements, as per the NIRF 2025 Report, a total number of 171 students were placed with the help of the NEF Law College placements cell at UG and PG level combined, wherein a total of 69 students from the 3-year LLB and 77 students from the 5-year integrated programme were placed at NEFLC Guwahati median salary package of Rs 2.75 LPA.

NEF Law College Placement Process

• The students need to fill a placement form to avail the placement services from the college. 

• NEF Law College placement cell, collaborates with firms and companies and conducts on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives. 

• The NEF LC NEF Guwahati placements cell conducts career readiness programmes including aptitude preparation, mock interviews, and group discussions.

• Once done, the college provides assistance for internships with high courts, district courts, legal aid centres, and reputed law chambers.

• Before the final interviews, there are a lot of activities in which students compulsorily have to show their participation. These include alumni mentoring sessions that help students with job expectations and professional conduct.

• Once the interviews are done, the offer letters are issued after candidates clear the final rounds of interviews.
