The Padmavathi College of Pharmacy Diploma in Pharmacy course has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission is given on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, normally the 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects.
B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) programme also has the approved intake of 60 students. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are eligible to appear for the test. Shortlisting is based on merit in the qualifying exam.
The intake for the Doctor of Pharmacy programme is 30 students. The candidate's performance at B.Pharma or equivalent shall be the basis for admission to the M.Pharma course, subject to any entrance tests as required by the regulating bodies.
The different specialties of M.Pharma that the college offers are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacognosy.
