College Infrastructure
I didn't opt for hostels but as per my friends who were in hostel, there are 5 hostel under Patna science college in which Faraday, Cavendish and Newton were best in all perspectives. Main building is most beautiful, overall campus is also very large and very well maintained. All of my classroom were excellent everything was well maintained (board, podium, bench and desks). Classes were very specialised for special classes and courses. I haven't had any complaints about class and campus. No ac😅
Academics
I have persuaded my maths honours degree from Patna science college. In my honours course I have 5 professors out of which 2 were excellent 1 was good and 2 were from reservation quota😂. Overall I was satisfied with my facilities. Also i was 90% dependent on my self study because teachers were focused on exams and I have enough time to go for knowledge.
Placements
I didn't opt this college for any placement because I was already familiar with it's placement. It's placement sector is very low, actually there is no model for placements and there is no plan and no any major action is being made towards placement. Here you shouldn't go for placements, you should focus on your own start ups. I'm shantanu swaraj director of learners😊.
Value-for-money
As it's a government college hence my course was offered at a fair price 10k/year. I was satisfied with my facilities and I have got a lot of experiences much more than what I have paid for.
Campus Life
It's location is good and safe, as well as it can handle any emergency. From my point of view teachers and staff are very supportive, some of them were ready to sponsor me for some of my ideas. Best activity in campus was sports and athletic tournament.
Anything Else
Must go best college in patna for Graduation. It has it's own standard, you have to fight for selection don't take it lightly. If you think you deserve much better college then be sure that you have got rank under 50 in entrance exam.

College Infrastructure
We have large campus area and also connected to different other colleges and main university campus. We have wi-fi, smart class, labs in good condition, library small but good. A big playground, gymnasium, canteen, stationary and many other things are there but not well maintained.
Academics
I am studying Statistics. Teachers are really working too hard for us. They are very helpful and also can be easily available on phones for subject related clarification. Curriculum is UGC updated. But it doesn't make me job ready. Need to study more in the subject upto any PG diploma or PG atleast.
Placements
Very poor. I haven't heard of any good placement since my admission in the college. No company visits us. We have a placement cell but its not functional. College too doesn't care about placement too much.

College Infrastructure
As a psc student i have some positive feeds and also negetive feeds about college. Infrastr is quite good but wifi facilities is avalaible here.it has its own hostel which was alloted according to percentile.classroom is maintained regularly.labs are good .professors are helpful.there is a library ...you can read books butt after getting permission .canteen food are good and at low price .so its nice for us spent time in canteen .overall infrastrure is better than good.campus are also greenish..
Academics
After all this is best science college in bihar for graduation degree.teachers aree soo good ..some famous professor of allover india use to teach here.butt in our department students to faculty ratio is low .but still i havent anyproblem on this as professor are helpfull.
Placements
There is almost nill placement .there is no intership programme in our college .you have to go for master degree in other college for placement.although there is placement for bca and biotech branch .but you can get placement after msc if you get good marks .butt after bachelor degree there is 0 % chance of placement
Value-for-money
Fee structure is low here and its a nice thing i like .for general and obc the fees are around 3500 per year irrespective of any course .for sc st the fees is exemted .for girls of any category fees are almost nill.hostel fees are also low you have to pay only for one tym
Campus Life
Campus life is soo good.there are so much intercollege programme .sports competition.we use to celebrate independence day republic day sarswati puja in good manner .poem speech painting other talent programmne organise here
Anything Else
As a best science college you can get good quality education with full of fun.but career making awareness and effort is poor here coz there is no placement so here you have to do pg for placement .afterall college life is good here

It is a the best college in bihar if you are looking for a traditional course . It has got good faculties a very good infrastructure a good laboratory but if you want to get something more than the degree you will need to strive for it . Besides it it has also got a good atmosphere for competitive exams like cat upsc or general govt examination .

Provides what you expect from a degree college .Has a good infrastructure. It has also got a rich library . Has A very big playground one can even borrow bats or football from the college I am myself from the physics department had a good experience but it was not so good with my subsidiary subjects . Although there is very very low or say no scope for research .

In our batch of 30 students there are only 10 computers which work. No any placement cell. No industry exposure. All the teachers are on contract basis. Teachers are average too. No hostel facility for this course. College does not have a Computer Department. BCA course runs in Physics Department and MCA course runs in Statistics Department.

Patna science college has a rich heritage. It was inaugurated by Lord Irwin in 1928 and after that it gained immense popularity in the field of science education but now a days college is struggling to revive its old glory. Patna Science College has twelve well equipped laboratories, which are located in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics and Zoology Departments. Geology Department has four laboratories while each other department has two laboratories but the college today is running under the shortage of faculties. There are separate hostel for boys and girls which are allotted on the basis of merit. Teachers are very friendly and cooperative here and that is why college life is pretty satisfactory. College has also great libraries and options of pursuing higher studies. Though the college has playground and common room but it lacks a well equipped activity room and basic sports facility. Overall Patna science college is satisfactory in performance but it is maintaining hard to improve its standard. And because of that it is the first choice of students of Bihar who want to pursue traditional and vocational courses of science.

“Patna Science College is one of the best college for science education in India and probably the best in Bihar, the quality of education here is world class”. There was a time when this statement was 100% true, but, now it is a history. The quality of education in this premier college has been demolished. Now, it’s quality of education is not even 10% of earlier education. If you visit the labs first thing will come in your mind that, yeah it was one of the best labs in India but now a days the truth is bitter. There is a huge lake of facilities, most of the lab instrument is not in working state and even no one care about it. College has very weak teacher strength. Placement status of college is almost zero. Lake of good facilities of sports. College also provide the hotel facilities, but, quality of hostel facilities is also not satisfactory.

Nw i m in BHU and doing Msc tech in Geophysics. In this college i found myself as a better student in comparison to my other colleagues(based on different different test and other things like communication skill and lots) who came in this college from other very reputed college of India and from other country also,n this is due to the healthy educational environment of patna science college and a group of my friend given by my college. I qualified ISM entrance, BHU entrance, IIT JAM only by stdying here.

Patna Science College, a constituent unit of Patna University, was established in 1927. Initially it was opened as the Science Department of Patna University. It began functioning independently from 1928 when its foundation stone was laid by Lord Irwin on 15 November 1928. The College is centrally located in Patna, the capital of Bihar, occupying an area of approximately 28.32 acres of land containing separate blocks for different science departments.

i was expecting it a good college but it was quite below my expectation. course structure was good but all the professors were very lazy and had a political environment among them. if i would have to name the college,i will name it a life spoiling college. to obtain its glory of past ,there must be some changes in various aspect in te college. first change is to make it central university. by doing this thing, the professors can be made punctual. second ting is that they should be a semester system in the curriculum so that student should have a constancy in the study. third thing is that the extra curricular activity should be increased so that there would be all round development of student. fourth thing is that ther should be appointment of new professors . by doing all these things only, pcs can get its lost glory
