Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry is a two-year full-time postgraduate Course offered by Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Chandigarh and affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria

As per rules and regulations of Panjab University, B.Sc. (Medical/Non-Medical) candidates who have passed the said examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and also 50% marks in the subject of Chemistry separately are eligible for admission.
The candidates, who have passed B.Sc. (Medical) the examination shall be required to study Mathematics st nd in the 1 as well as 2 Semester and those who have passed B.Sc. (Non-Medical) the examination shall best nd required to study Biology in the 1 and 2 Semesters.
Admission will be made on the basis of combined merit of CET (P.G.) (conducted by Panjab University) and B.Sc. examination.
50% weightage will be given to the score in the entrance test and 50% to the score in the qualifying examination.

Admission Details

Admission to M.Sc (Botany) will be through an entrance test OCET conducted by the Panjab University.

College Infrastructure

the college infrastructure was good. the outer building of infrastructure was good. in the classrooms the infrastructure was not good their are the smart boards in the classrooms' but the teachers didn't get study on these boards.
