India’s first liberal arts college to offer a four-year full time Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Liberal Arts) Honours degree
Campus has good labs for each dept, nice library, e-lab, projectors in class, auditorium, wifi and even soil-testing gear like atomic absorption spectrometer. But some seating or grounds need better care sometimes.
Teachers mostly hold doctorates and are helpful. Theory and lab both taught, RAWE and field visits give real experience. Curriculum clear and enforced well, though extra tests may come up weekends sometimes.
Placement cell exists but few companies come. In some years only handful students placed, packages low. But some students get good roles, average up to 5 lpa in recent year. Many get government or RAWEbased jobs.
Fees about Rs. 2.88 lakh tuition plus hostel 53,500 for 4 years, total 3.4 lakh. Good facilities, labs, hostels, scholarships. Still cost high for many, but quality and opportunities justify for some.
Big green campus , events like Agribeat fest, sports, arts, NSS/NCC, friendly crowd, hostels safe with food. English speaking is low, and long tours not done much. Still lively and supportive campus.
Infrastructure is quite good have a seprate laboratory for each department. Library is too good there is availability of wifi for students. E lab is also there. Agronomy, Horticulture field are there.
We studied in practical and theory both there is theory class of 2 hrs and 4 hr for practical class which held at particular department for Agronomy and horticulture practical held at field respectively.
Placement is quite good. Placement committee do not offer the best companies. In yr of 2023-24 very less companies came for placement. There were 10 to 15 students approximately selected for companies.
It's very enjoyable.
