Reena Mehta College of Law, Thane Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has two Libraries, one for traditional courses situated on the ground floor and another for self-financed/professional courses situated on the third floor. Besides textbooks, the library has subscribed to a number of periodicals, including magazines, journals, and newspapers of regional, national repute. The library is equipped with well-furnished Reading Rooms for students and teachers, along with facilities like a book bank, an information circulation board, etc. The students can borrow books from the library for a specific period of time. For that purpose, they are issued College Library Cards. Moreover, the Book Bank facility is available for poor and meritorious students.

The College has a canteen/cafeteria for students, teachers, and employees.

Special attention is given to the Sports environment of the College. The College provides a playground for outdoor sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton etc. The College organizes various sports activities, Sports week etc., annually in the College premises and on grounds.

The College has well well-equipped Gymkhana in which Carom, Table Tennis, and Chess are made available for the students. It has a Gymnasium for Physical Exercise for the students and the staff.

An auditorium is being constructed aiming to provide a decorated stage and a good seating capacity for participants in college. The auditorium will be used for organizing various college functions, including Seminars, Workshops, meetings, Cultural Shows etc.

The 24-hour Aqua drinking water facility is available for both teachers and students. Sanitation facilities with adequate numbers of Urinals and latrines are provided for teachers and students. A simple coin-operated Sanitary Pad dispenser and incinerator machine is available in girl’s washrooms on first and second floors. There is a separate provision for Boys and Girls on each floor.

The College provides a well-equipped Moot Court Hall that gives students the real-time experience of court proceedings and enhances their advocacy skills.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
