Hostels are well-maintained with good food and Wi-Fi facilities, making them convenient for both boys and girls.

Teachers encourage students to work on projects, participate in technical events, and build practical skills along with academics. Many of them have years of teaching as well as industry experience, which helps in giving practical insights. Professors are also willing to guide students beyond the classroom, whether it is for internships, higher studies, or career goals.

Placement cell is quite active and works throughout the year to connect students with companies. Training programs are arranged regularly to improve aptitude, soft skills, and technical knowledge. Many top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini visit the campus each year. For computer science and IT branches, placement opportunities are very good, with average packages ranging around ₹3.5–4 LPA and some students getting above ₹10 LPA in top firms.

The MIET MBA placement history is very decent. A good number of students get placed every year, with the likes of Berger Paints, Hike Education, ITC, and Stealmax as the recruiting companies. The top package offered crosses ₹10 LPA while the average package is generally between ₹4–5 LPA.

The topmost salary offered was approximately 5 LPA, while the lowest was around 1.5 LPA and the average package is between 2.5-3 LPA. Bajaj Auto, JBM Group, L&T, and Hero MotoCorp are among the companies coming for recruitment. The primary roles open for selection are mechanical engineer, design engineer, and production executive.

The course curriculum is very good, with industry exposure. The college follows the course curriculum according to IIT's curriculum. The course modules are very good. The faculty members are awesome, well-qualified, very experienced, professional, and helpful. The exam structure is hard, but because of good study structure, students can pass out the exam well. Because of exams, we only come to know about our daily assignments and class work is there to know the performance.
Placements
According to my knowledge, we had 2,500 students from the 2015 batch who are eligible for placement drives, and 1,895 students were placed in different companies like CTS, IBM, HCL, Aon Hewitt, Samsung, HP, Ericsson, Verizon, etc. A good package is offered in the range of 2.5-4.8 LPA. The placement is very good, with almost 90% of the students placed. It is the top private university in North India in terms of placement, with top companies like ITC and TCS.

For national placements, the highest has been around 30-50 LPA for specialized tech roles.
