Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.

Admission Details

Admission through CET :

The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super-numerary quota (SNQ) seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision.

Admission through COMED-K :

Consortium of the management of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both Karnataka & Non-Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test.

Admission through Management Quota :

25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year.

College Infrastructure

Total campus is surrounded by greenery, which makes everyday college life feel relaxed and refreshing. The buildings are well laid out, and most classrooms are bright and airy with good seating. The labs are upgraded frequently, especially in branches like CS, ECE, and Mechanical, so students get to work with equipment that actually matches industry needs. The library is one of the biggest assets of the campus, with thousands of books and long study hours. Hostels are decent with regular maintenance, and the campus has grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, and indoor sports.

College Infrastructure

College gives a refreshing feel to students. The classrooms are well-ventilated and some are equipped with smart boards for better teaching. Each department has its own labs with updated tools and software that help students get practical knowledge. The library is big, calm, and filled with thousands of books, journals, and online learning resources. Hostels are well-maintained with good food and Wi-Fi facilities, making them convenient for both boys and girls.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very good. Greenery is all over and the college has separate gyms for girls and boys and there is a swimming pool as well. There is a lawn as well. The cafeteria is good and the hostels are great. Hostels have ACs in every room which you can use during 8 pm to 7 am, even during weekends. The mess provides fruits every morning, it takes care of our health.
