Good campus & infrastructure
College Infrastructure
The campus offers robust wired and Wi-Fi connectivity across academic spaces. A dedicated system support cell oversees operations, ensuring internet access for learning and research purposes. The CV Raman computing centre serves as a major tech hub, supporting system and application software needs. Classrooms are modern and well-equipped, frequently featuring LCD projectors, PCs, and HD cameras for immersive teaching experiences. The central Gyanoday Bhawan links 10+ libraries across campus, offering over 24,000 books, 15,800 online journals, 1,315 print journals, and daily newspapers.
Academics
Many students describe the faculty as helpful, qualified, friendly, and knowledgeable, particularly in programs like B.Teach (CSE) and BBA. For example, one BBA-Digital Marketing student noted many students praise the curriculum for being practical and industry-aligned, though certain courses, especially in media and arts, face criticism for lacking hands-on learning and external relevance. Semester exams are generally seen as moderately challenging, tougher if AI-driven or consistent across courses, but passing is typical with consistent effort. Pass rates are estimated in the range of 70-90%, depending on the program.
Placements
Placement for BBA at shows varied outcomes, with some reports indicating a 70 to 90% placement rate and others suggesting a higher overall university rate. Average packages generally range from INR 3 to 6 LPA, with the highest packages reported at over INR 40 LPA in some cases. The university provides placement support through its placement cell and offers opportunities in companies like TCS, Wipro, and banks, though some students pursue further education, like an MBA.
Coming to this college will come with it pros and cons.
College Infrastructure
College infrastructure really needs to upgrade. Even though there's wifi, adequate classrooms and all of that, the cleanliness amd the buildings need to do better. There's also a shortage of desks and chairs.
Academics
Academics is excellent. Studies here are at par with any other top level college outside the state. Opportunities may not be plenty but academics here will prepare you for the best outside. I'm studying history and the professors are skilled.
Placements
Even though history department does not have enough placement opportunities, the engineering faculty and other faculties have a lot of placement options. Top notch companies come here and students do get placed as per their results.
