Academics
The faculty members are good at teaching, and the way of communicating with us is good. The semester exams in our college are quite difficult to pass. The pass percentage for the semester-end exams is around 60% in our college

Spacious classrooms with smart technology
College Infrastructure
We have a great infrastructure in MSRIT for students. The college provides supervised Wi-Fi access to students with a maximum of 2 devices per student. We also have a great library and also have access to a digital archive of those books. The library has all the prescribed books covered in our syllabus. I don't know much about hostel facilities as I stay outside the college hostel.
Academics
The course curriculum of MCA is very cleverly designed and impacts a lot on students as it gives exposure to the latest technology available in the industry. Some teaching staff members do not possess the sufficient amount of knowledge required to teach students. I expect, at least next year, RIT hire good staff members.
Placements
MSRIT has a total of 120 students per year for MCA, and MCA is for two years. From my seniors, who are currently passing out in 2025, only 30-40% of students get placed. A majority of them are placed in low tired companies and the remaining are waiting for placements. Some of my seniors have got internships and PPOs of 9 LPA in Fedility, Bangalore. The highest package is 17 LPA for my seniors, and the lowest package is unknown to us. A majority of roles offered are SDE and analyst.

Placements
The placement cell is active and supportive, offering training sessions on soft skills, aptitude, and interview preparation. While top-tier companies do visit, placements largely depend on individual effort and skill development. Many of my peers secured roles in marketing, HR, and finance with decent packages. The university also encourages internships, which helped me gain hands-on experience.

Cultural fests, management events, and sports tournaments keep the energy high throughout the year. Limited campus life, good academics, poor placements
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is quite basic and lacks several essential facilities. There is no gym or auditorium on campus, and annual fests are either not held or are poorly organized. The academic building is very small, offering limited space for classes and student activities. Overall, the infrastructure does not meet the standard expectations of a well-equipped educational institution.
Academics
The academics of the college are generally good, with a decent curriculum and a focus on learning. Some teachers are excellent, knowledgeable, and supportive, contributing positively to the student experience. However, a few faculty members are less cooperative, which can affect the overall learning environment at times. Despite this, the academic standards are maintained reasonably well.
Placements
The placement situation at the college is very poor. There are virtually no placement opportunities provided to students. When I joined, even the professors advised us early on to pursue other options alongside our studies to build a career, as the college does not offer any real placement support or campus recruitment.
Campus Life
Campus life at the college is quite limited due to the absence of hostel facilities. Without on-campus accommodation, students miss out on the typical college experience and the sense of community that comes with it. As a result, campus life feels minimal and lacks the vibrancy usually found in residential colleges.
