As per my opinion academics of NSUT can be said to be average not very great but not very bad. Courses and syllabus is well updated and faculties are also very good but they somehow I feel are not very much interested to teach.

Placements of NSUT is also average. This college has great placements statistics when it was Netaji Subhash Institute of technology but in the recent years after it has became a university there is a significant fall in the placements

Overall college is good for painting students not for all.

Nowadays some government work is going on there due to which there is a lot of noise and pollution in the faculty. There is no environment in the faculty to study and there are no facilities at all, but the painting teachers are the best teachers of Banaras.

BFA faculty is good only for painting students, but for the rest of the applied and sculpture students, classes also do not run properly, most of the applied classes get cancelled because there is no good applied teacher in the college.
Placements
We do not get placement from our college but the college organises its own exhibition where we get a chance to meet big and good artists. Sometimes the college sends our work out of town and organises an exhibition, which is good for us.

Ranchi itself may not be a metro city, but it has shops, restaurants, and healthcare facilities nearby, so I’ve never felt limited in terms of daily conveniences

The academics provided in the campus are pretty good. The exams for the end semester are conducted open book. The faculty are kind and helpful for helping in studies . The courses provided are helpful for future job.

The placements in the campus are pretty mid. The packages expected are not upto the mark. The basic package of the college is 3 lakh per annum which is pretty low. But the placements are provided along with training.
