i studied biotechnology, i took it to study biology without takIng NEET. The quality of teaching is really good, they taught us from basic so it was easy for us to catch up and the staffs are also friendly

Basically BDS course is a combination theory, practical works and clinical training. In 1st year mainly deals with basic medical science and one dental subject. In 2nd year more technical subjects and have practical and laboratory works also. In 3rd year mainly focus on general medicine ,surgery and oral pathology. And have more clinical hours . Quality of teaching In 4th year combination of theory and clinical works. Quality of teaching is very good.

About placements, Have several career paths, like,MDS specialisation, private practice, abroad opportunities, government sector , teaching profession . My college is very supportive by guiding and making informative about choosing the correct path.

Rigorous acads with relative grading, so gotta always be on top of the class to maintain a good cgpa, labs are also good but hard. But it still is manageable enough. Professors are helpful except maybe some.

Atrocious placements, at least for ECE. Only two core companies appeared for the whole process, and they selected only a few. This area could see some massive improvement. Same with internships too. But CS placements and ointernships are neat though.

Infrastructure of the college is rather new since the campus was built around 2018. But new academic buildings, hostels and facilities are built every year. There are classrooms which can hold 150 students and 50 students, and all of the classrooms have enough ventilation and electric sockets with smart boards and a PC with it. WiFi is available throught the campus. The living spaces are available inside and outside campus and are well kept as they are cleaned everyday except Sundays.

I chose BTech ECE and my batch is the third batch of ECE graduates in the college. The quality of teaching rather lacking in my opinion but from what I heard from juniors new faculties and syllabus change is making it better. The curriculum which was given for us was a little different to what the current curriculum is. But since the curriculum is very similar to IIIT Hyderabad, I would say it is alright. What was taught wont make you job ready I believe and requires you to study extra on your own for being job ready.
Placements
The quality of placements is really poor for our year ECE batch. Our year 83% of the students were placed. Mostly Btech Comp. Science , CY and AI batches. Highest salary package was 60LPA, a student from Computer Science Stream got it. Average salary package was 14lpa. Only 2 core ECE Companies came for placement and I had gotten an interview for one but it did not go well. The college provides just bare minimum but the one single coordinator faculty has a lot of connections so that helps.
Campus Life
The best features about the campus would be the nature surrounding it and the floral habitat maintained inside. The flowers and various plants and trees maintained are really relaxing. The worst would be the current climate in kerala and the campus being well above sea level , it is very humid and rarely a cool climate. Teachers are how you can imagine a college professor are like, all types of professors are there. The support staffs are really friendly and helpful. The location of the campus is 7km from the nearest towns in both directions but there are two junctions 1 km in two directions which can provide all the necessary items needed. There are shops inside and just outside the campus as well. There is one nurse available 24/7 and two doctors( one in the morning till noon and one from noon till evening). A van is also on standby for any emergencies that may arise.

The college as a whole is pretty nice but as most colleges the administration can be as expected. Keep participating in activities done by the clubs and maintain good relations with the professors.
