Around 80-90% of students were placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro were the top recruiting companies. Many students got internships from Internshala. System engineer role and web developer were the top roles offered. Placements were great in this college.

The infrastructure and facilities of SMVEC is good. It is perfectly equipped with classrooms, sports ground etc. The only disadvantage is that there are some blocks and rooms which are yet to be built completely.

I am pursuing B.tech AIDS 3rd ug. SMVEC has wide variety of courses to be selected. The quality of teaching is good with using projectors , seminars, group activities as a source of teaching and making the concepts clear.

The placements in SMVEC is good but when compared to previous years the percentage of getting placed in MNC’s are reduced drastically. Mostly CSE students get placed with an average Package of 4 Lpa. The percentage required for placement is above 70.

The college hostels are good and separate for boys and girls, with excellent facilities and a good environment. Each room is shared by three people with separate beds and shelves. Hostel facilities are provided for all branches and years of students, and ragging is not present in the hostels.

If we pay 3000 to 4000 for book banks in the first year, then we can take book banks for four years. After 4 years, we can take books from the library which costs 3000 to 4000 at the end.

Some of the faculty are good and very helpful and have good knowledge. They encourage students to do something new, and a few faculty have no knowledge and try to take classes by reading the PPTs. The course has subjects which are fundamentals do make us industry-ready.

Around 95% of students got placed, and the highest package was 45,000 USD by Virtusa International. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The top companies are TCS, Wipro, Virtusa, ADP, Prodapt etc. Internships are not much encouraged. The top roles offered are software developer etc.

So we have school of AI & DE, but this is for PG not UG and we come under CSE department. Here, every building contains Wi-Fi, including my department. Labs are well-equipped, like a supercomputer, which exists only here in IITJ compared to all other IITs. Classrooms are also well-equipped but there may be some power cut-off while studying, although the possibility is very low. Yes, it happens sometimes. We have library full of books and we even have library which consists of enormous amount of books. In the offline library, you will find book of each course you will be studying till your last day in college. The quality of the hostel is quite good. We are the only IIT that has rooms with AC, and we are properly equipped with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port in each room.

Here, faculty members are qualified; you can't say this faculty is below average. Although they are highly qualified, just like other colleges here at IIT, professors will give you the typical professor vibe while teaching. Exams are quite difficult but as an IITian, you will cover the whole syllabus within a week and easily crack the exam. Pass percentage is generally 30%, attendance attendance>75% or no attendance policy if you get a grade >C-.

The highest package is 42 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 20.3 LPA. Really good infrastructure for the academic area, but hostels are not in very good shape. The academic area includes classrooms and labs that are well maintained with the newest technology and machines; even the sports grounds are well maintained and in good shape. Wifi facility is also available.But only new hostels are good; old ones aren't good.Environment is very blissful here.

The professors are very knowledgeable in my department. Extra lectures are given at our convenience. Even sometimes, the pros give us some freedom to choose the paper pattern. They also allow us to study other interesting books excluding the subject.They solve each and every problem .
Placements
Around 70–80 percent of people end up with good or decent placements, and some of them pursue higher education, such as Masters in Teaching or an MBA. The companies have retreated since the COVID period due to the heavy recession.Most of the top recruiting companies come for the interviews here.
