Good college infrastructure with beautiful and huge outdoor space along with proper library, canteens and well equipped classrooms. Living spaces are maintained properly and the food is absolutely hygienic and well prepared.
Academics
Faculties are supportive and engaging and also the college offers wide range of courses in all the fields like science, humanities, commerce etc. Since it is one of the oldest colleges in Assam, it stands strong as an epitome of good service and quality education.
Placements
Average to decent placements but students mostly go for higher education as it offers great networks for research and masters. Since, it is a completely government funded institution, it has a good brand name when it comes to placements.
Campus Life
Amazing college life as this college not only focuses on academics but also on overall holistic development of a student, ranging from academic excellence to social proficiency. General election rallies, inter college national level fests etc are the biggest attractions.

The infrastructure of college is good they have every facilities like library, sports grounds of most games and the environment is great they have study equipment and lab equipment available overall it is a good college

There are different courses available in the college and they are experienced faculties available for teaching the faculty have great knowledge about the subject or field they are teaching and best environment for study

The quality of placement in my college is good there may be 40 out of 100 got placement in the college placement and they get best assistance for the outer world corporate for the job placement and it has a decent placement
Overall, i can say our college is quite good and i like it.

Yes, our college has the best infrastructure, and our classrooms are and the necessary facilities and equipment. 2.Our classrooms have digital board /smart board which does all the tasks such as presentations, our daily classwork. Our classroom has good seating arrangements. We have different Wi-Fi connections throughout our college. We have a well-diversified range of books in our library. Our hostels contain many good facilities such as homely food, daily snacks, gym.

I am currently in my second year of btech in information technology as i am interested to learn more about the software industry. yes, it is updated, our teachers conduct monthly trainings which helps us to crack a job such as aptitude training and ipd's.
Placements
I can say that placements are of decent as of now. 80% students are placed in our college in placements. The highest package offered was 15 lakhs per annum for CSE and its specialization branches. The average package is of 4-5 lakhs per annum. Our seniors say that through our hard work and determination we can crack any job in our college.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite good for me. The best feature is the large playground in which i usually play badminton. The worst feature is that whatever you buy inside of the campus is quite expensive compared to outside. Students are good, teachers are friendly. Its safe here as there are large number of other colleges surrounding by our college. For any emergencies, there are hospitals nearby and all other necessary facilities too.

My experience is that college is good. and there are plenty of opportunities to students here. I am enjoying my time here. The atmosphere is quite good in my college. The support provided by faculty is good and helps us learn better.

Facilities they providing are A/C classrooms, wifi environment college and rainwater harvesting facilities too are very good. Every classrooms has projector and cleanest environment. the college has peaceful environment inside the city.

I'm studying MBA where they provide very excellent teaching. Staffs are also the corporate employees which gives real-time knowledge. The college gives the updated syllabus to the other colleges to follow the curriculum for the year which is helpful for job.

Quality of placement is average because as a management college they have to give good placement support. Nearly 75% of students are placed with the 4.5 LPA as a average package. Placement process is bit difficult by attending the placement training and provide avarage support.

Faculty will be more friendly who helps us a lot in our studies to clear our doubts. They helps us in everything like carrier guidance too. Faculty will teach very well and they are very experienced. They are supportive too.

Placements are good,according to my knowledge more than 75% students placed in the last academic year. Average salary is more than 3L per annum, yes the college is supportive in placements through place ment officers.

Despite the small building I find the Infrastructure to be good. There are 13 floors and each floor is very clean. Classrooms are Tech loaded, and WiFi is always available. The Labs are well equipped.

Academically the Course is lengthy and quite hard but the syllabus is updated regularly and case studies on real world scenarios are discussed in classroom. The quality of teaching is good. The faculty is helpful.

Placement opportunities are vast and skillful students always make it to the best companies. Great companies visit campus with amazing offers. The placements training is quite impressive as I always find myself busy.

Campus life is average as there is only one buliding but good friends make great memories and overall the campus life passed quite fast. The fests and celebrations here are amazing though. All forms of art and sport activities are encouraged.

Currently I'm persuing PGDM in Marketing here and faculty members are very good cooperative and understanding. If you're a average student then also you can learns the major aspects required for job role, with practical learnings.

Darrang College, known as the Nalanda of the North Banks is situated in the heart of Tezpur, which provides a wide range of courses from different streams. The college is well placed near Mahabhairabh temple, one of the greatest tourist attractions in Tezpur, with a line of food cafes and business hubs around. College provides clean classrooms and labs, which are regularly maintained and looked after. The hostels are also good enough to accomodate students smoothly.

Good enough academics offered as faculties are well aware of their domain specific knowledge and provide help to the students in the best way possible. It offers majors in various subjects depending upon our interests. It is affiliated to Guwahati University.

Average placements but due to good brand name and affiliation to Guwahati university, the placement statistics have improved positively in the past few years with an upsurge of 1-2 lakhs in most of the departments.

Infrastructure Of HPUBS is quite good with excellent classroom, seats are well cushioned and there is arm rest as well. All classes are equiped with touch smartboards with windows 11 as well. Classrooms are well ventilated with a wonderful view.

Placement cell Of HPUBS is quite good and helps students to get placed in good companies. The data is maintained and shared on a regular basis. Placement co-ordinators are also very good and talk very softly with the students.
Overall this college is average but only for some branches.

Very very poor placement. Maximum package is of only 7-8 LPA. Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. Very less companies recruit students from this college. Placement is only good for Agriculture, Mechanical, IPED and Electrical engineering students.
