Xavier's Ranchi provides adequate facilities to its students. College does have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. My classroom is well ventilated and very spacious with a capacity of more than 100 students. There is a big sports ground in the centre of the college well surrounded by greenery and benches around it and a big stadium like structure with good sitting capacity. College also has a basketball and volleyball court. The campus also has an auditorium and canteen.
Academics
I am a student of BSc Information Technology. the faculty are highly qualified and have years of experience. Yes, y curriculum is updated and I believe that after the completion of my BSc I will be ready for doing my work in my sector.

Particularly my dept is having good placement in past and in resent as well. around 60% of student got placed last year. Highest Package was 8 LPA and average of 3 LPA. Placement Cell of my college works day and night to build the future of those students who are below average.

College campus is very beautiful and clean. The campus has a Chaple which is a key to attraction. Canteen, Gaming zone and gym is among the best place in the college. The college organises many cultural and sports competitions in the College under the name of Xavier Fest. These fests are really fun-packed and act as a refreshment for the students. Situated in the mid of city with Sadar Hospital as a neighbour is capable of handling any emergencies. Security is really strong.

Some of the basic needs were missing. If they could also be arranged then it will be good. Lab infrastructure was awesome. Campus greenary is amazing. But classrooms need to be arranged in a good manner.

I'm studying computer Science engineering. Our university is famous for computer science engineering. As we have qualified staff. And well sufficient labs. And academics were given higher importance in college.

Not yet faced but as per my knowledge not more companies were coming. Our seniors suggested that not more than 4 big companies come to our college. One of the mnc was congnizent technology solutionss.

As of now it's ok . We had a very good experience in our department fests, sports fest and all. Students are provided with very big library where we can get all our academic books. And clg contains wide range of sport ground.

I am. Currently pursuing my civil engineering and I am currently in TE. The college comes under pune university, hence the syllabus is updated. The lectures are held but the atmosphere is such that students don't attend classes.

There is kind off no placement for civil engineering department. Hardly 4-5 students get placed from college. The maximum placement happens for IT students. The average package is around 3.5 lakh per annum.

In our class we have a podium for seminar a dias.Very well ventilated class with 3 windows for each class and also have a first aid box just outside our class. We have a central library we have plenty of books and online usage. We miss some good sports like tennis,badminton,hockey otherways it is great. Hostels are main highlight they are good but bathrooms are well maintained but are old. Food is on top spot.

Iam studying 2nd year B.tech ECE I had no choice. The quality of teaching is great all our senior lecturers have completed their PhD and their teaching skills are very good. Our curriculum is always updated and all the developments in the field

Though we get low packages compared to IIT and NITs. Almost 75-85% of the students are placed in the technical field.The highest salary package offered was 12lpa for a mechanical student. The average salary offered is around 6-7lpa. The placement process depends on the drives it would be easy and also tough sometimes. College campus is not big in area the canteen could have been better stationary is a bit problem. We barely have non technical events. Many teachers are very supportive and student teacher supportive is good and few teachers annoy students by giving many assignments. Though the location is very far from the heart of the city it is safe there are few hospitals near by and coaching centers. It can handle the emergencies pretty well as our college have an ambulance too and pretty good bus facility
