Amity University Kolkata is having the best infrastructure compared to any other college in kolkata . It is a modern hitech campus with beautiful petal theme . Each and every corner of amity is air conditioned .
Academics
Teachers are very friendly and they are always ready to clarify any of your doubts . Every topic which is there in syllabus are thoroughly taught by them . They are highly qualified teachers ....most of them are PhDs

I don't know much about placements as first batch for placements of bba llb are still not out. As much as I know highest placement is around ₹14 lakhs and average placement is of ₹3 lakhs per annum ..
Campus Life
Campus Life is what amity is known for.....it won't take much time for a person to find frnds there as students are really friendly ....you will get one of the most premium coffee shop inside campus i.e CCD for chilling .

the infrastructure is good and all the required things are available like classroom white boards,projectors, and well equipment in labs and surrounding is neat and clean and surrounded with garden and standard books in library and good internet speed and can use it anywhere in campus and hostels quite expensive so they maintain neatly and food is really good and hygienic they maintain timetable and follow it and high security is available at each floor there is camera

i am studying civil engineering , the course curricular and exams structure is divided into 8 semester for total 4 years and 2 semesters per year and the quality is teaching is really good they teach us out of book also sometimes and they maintain curriculum and update it every 3 months depending on needy and other then academics we have other events also like cubs,guest lecture ,seminars , communication labs..etc which all this make us ready for placements
Placements
the placements will start in 3rd year end or 4 th year 1 st semester and in my college the placements are depended on course we are studying and for my course we have less placements i have my personal experience also and only few of my seniors got placed in core oriented companies rest all in bpo's or marketing companies there are less opportunities for my course and highest in my course is 5 lakhs and average is 2-3 lakhs and college highest pacakge is 6 .5 lakhs last year for cse

events in my college is traditional day,annual day,teachers day ,alumini, summar trainings ,cultural events and nss,anti ragging cell,sports ,story writing competition,poetry writing,hacakthons,..so on in all this activities students can engage in and it is safe to study and also to stay in hostels because there is high security and also they can handle emergencies

A student can select their own course and faculty. And academics are fully flexible . and curriculum is updated regularly and they will offer courses on english so that you can take them and increase their vocabulary.

Nearly 60% students are placed in vit chennai. Somany companies now a days are focusing in chennai campus as well. In cse branch nearly 4,00,000 is the average salary and in ece 3,00,000 is the average salary.

The college life is average but the positive thin is you can learn all languages in india.

College has an average infrastructure and green campus and has approximately all the necessary facilities and equipments in labs. It has WiFi connection in hostels and labs. There are AC, podium and white boards in classrooms, there are no smart boards. The mess in the hostels serves meal four times a day including evening snacks. Both boys'and girls' hostels have a common room with television and boys' hostel have gym. There are no sports facilities in college. The living spaces are clean.
Academics
I'm currently pursuing Btech in Information Technology. The quality of teaching is average and the college offers separate PDP and APTITUDE classes twice a week but still it needs to be updated. The faculties are supportive and if any one take efforts on his own, they support and guide them
Placements
The placement scenario is same as in most of the engineering college. Many companies organize campus placement but a very few can make to this. Most of the students got place through off campus drives are by the efforts of their own. The average salary offered is 3-3.5 lakh per annum. The college is supportive and allows most of the students to sit in placement drives.

The college campus is not so cool. there are very strict rules and fine is imposed for silly mistakes. If you are late in the morning you have to stay for 1 lecture at the entrance and then your details will be taken and after that fine will be imposed. There is fine for getting late, for paying fees after due date,for returning books after due date,not maintaining 85% attendence,being in canteen except lunch hours,for not giving mid semesters,for failing in exams and there is fine for everythin

The physical infrastructure comprises of spacious classrooms with seating arrangement and equipment that supports learning and understanding concepts. A vast library acts as a knowledge powerhouse for the students. Hostels are average and foods provided are not so hygenic.

I am currently studying diploma in mechanical engineering in this college. Quality of teaching is quite good. The backbone of the college is the team of knowledgeable and experienced professors. Yes the curriculum is updated.

I don't know the quality of placements in this college because this is the new college and our batch is the first batch. But I hope in our batch the placements would be better. There is a placement team in place who guides us with various career opportunities.

Campus life is good in this college. Students play different types of sports like cricket, football etc. Some young professors are friendly and also plays sports with us. There is no strict rules on attendance of students. Location should be better but its ok and safe.

The college has everything a student needs, gymnasiums, a basketball court, auditorium, a very hygienic cafeteria etc., but because of it exclusive urban location it doesn't boasts the size. But believe me it has its own perks.

The faculties are around here are well experienced ,and are very friendly . The perks of being a deemed university it has is, it always updates its curriculum and academics to the current trend. I heard student of my previous year batch had a totally different curriculum for literature when compared to us. It gets better and better every year.
Placements
The college has a very good or probably the best reputation when it comes to the placement sector. The college gets every year above 95% placement. You will see a diverse nature of companies coming to the placement, from multi billion dollar tech companies to startups. The average package i heard was around 4.5 lakhs.

actually the experience of the campus varies from person to person. I am a day scholar, i spend around 5 hrs in the campus, keeping the duration in mind day scholars find it very comfortable, ofcourse there is a lack of sports infrastructure but the city vibes never makes you distracted. But for me this college was a life changing experience , i got a great family, the vibrance in the air everytime i enter just makes me feel like home, and mainly its because of the friendly and caring faculies.

The level of study is appreciable. The teaching quality is good. The syllabus is up to date and does include all the recent developments. The college makes us job ready and help in pursuing future jobs.

The placements are at a good rate. The percentage of students placed is almost fifty percent. Not aware of the highest salary but it is a good platform to help us go into good sectors for job opportunitites.

The Campus is well-designed for a study environment. It houses three centres (management, media and design). Wifi and LAN connection available all through the campus and hostel. The hostel mess and college canteen may be rated well above average.

Even with faculty teaching you, most of it is dependent on your capability to self study. There are a lot of teachers who will teach you with great passion and that reflects on your understanding of the subject while there are many subjects which you'll have to consider studying yourself.

Great placement opportunities. Well known companies come in for placement and your extra curricular contributions are valued as much as your academics. I suppose the highest package this year was about 20LPA.

There is good placement in my college. If students have knowledge then he can got a good job with high salary. There are so many companies comes in college for give us placement. But big MNCs does not come. That's not good for me.

The placements of the college are good.Most of the people are placed every year.Average 3-5 lakhs per annum salary is offered!And some extra-ordinary people aslo get salaries above 10 lakhs.Overall the placement is good.

Not too spacious but well built and maintained. All labs especially Computer labs are upto date. Classrooms are very spacious and can accomodate upto 80 students at once. College campus does have wi-fi but it is password protected. Free Wi-Fi is available in Library but it is very likited only 30mb per day.

Our college is primarily known for its academics. Our faculties are from premier institutes. And they have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects plus teaching method is also very simple and easy to grasp.As far as our curriculum is concerned that is not upto date, it is quite old. But our teachers do share latest technical concepts with us.

From the day i have been in college till now, not heard of any placements. Yes there might be average placements but i didn't heard of anyone bagging a great package. Student do internships here and receive ppo from the respective companies.

Academics of the college is good but it decrease in descending order because in first year faculty mainly focus on the student to make them exam ready by giving assignment but in rest year they compel students to be participate in culutral due to which hardly we get 2month for the preparation of the entire syllabus of all subjects so hencet in the result our results disturb.

College shows hudred percent placement but in actual it's not achtlrate data because mostly they place all the students but only of computer science and engineering branch and with less package while they shows fake placement record .

Academics is good in VIT. students can take any subject they want as per FFCS system.but the FFCS has both pro and cons. teachers have good knowledge in their subject but their is only one issue about their language
