The campus is very large. The campus is very beautiful and is fully covered with Wi-Fi. The buildings are renovated regularly and kept just like new. Lecture halls and laboratories are equipped with modern technologies and advance equipment, washrooms are very clean and the campus itself is also kept very clean. Amity has a state-of-the-art auditorium and vast playgrounds for all major sports.
Academics
The syllabus is updated every year according to the latest industry trends. The quality of teaching is also good but the workload on the students is too much. Moreover, the academics is also a means of income for the University as the re-appear examination fee as well as other types of fines are very high.
Placements
Amity is known for its placement ratio. Most of the students get placed here. A large number of good and big companies come to the University for placements such as Amazon, Airtel, Deloitte, etc. The placement packages are also good.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good. A lot of extracurricular activities and competitions are organized in the campus almost every day. Hostel life is also good.

Yes,my college have almost all necessary infrustrure , facilities and equipment.we have classroom with well equipped with projectors and other necessary things like wifi with full air conditioning.In sports it's also good as for nearly every all sports there is club associated with having all facilities related to it. And in cleaning and hygienic food it's best.

I am from electronics nd communication engineering department and in my department all teachers are well responsible,helpful and friendly.And they all are very supportive for academics to extracurricular and projects also.And they all are well qualified.If you are sincere then no one can stop you from getting job in your dream company as everyone is ready to help you out.

Placement is good at my college.Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year.Highest salary offered is 24 lakh package from CSE department.And average package is 3.5 lakh.Its placement is good for IT and CSE department but not as good for ECE because core companies related to this branch is not available as much as for IT sector but you can get proper placement in IT sector.But if you are interested in core company then you must have to go for outside college.

I won't say that it is best campus but it is satisfactory. The best is thing TBI which gives you opportunity to entrepreneurship and MPC (multipurpose complex) from where you can buy almost all the daily use things.And for everything there is separate space available.Here students are engaged in everything from fashion to coding no field is left.And student teacher relation is very good every teacher is very supportive.It can handle emergencies but location is little bit nit satisfactory.

The college provides a good infrastructure, all the necessary equipment and facilities. Faculties are highly knowledgeable and helpful, they use facilities like projector, smart boards, presentations to make things more clear for students. Food available is also good.

Quality of the teaching is average, But it's all dependent on the students how they are taking serious to their teachers. Especially the staff are very friendly and supportive towards all students. They all understand any needs that you have needed. Inshort in academics our college is good.

Placement of the college is excellent. Placement cell guide us very well. The highest package was offered by software company of 6 lpa. Textile department has been offered the package was 15 lpa. College is all over supportive in this area.

Overall it is a really good college which can further be testified by the fact that it was built with the motive to be converted . We have a really strong alumni base who are working all over India and around the globe in really good and well paying positions which is testimony of the greatness.

Biotechnology department is one of the best department here, and I'm proud to be a part of this. Most of our faculties are well educated,and having high qualification degree. All the notes and study material is given to us by the teachers and they prepare us well for examination.

Placement cell is the name of the Department responsible for the job related issues. Faculties for all the departments are member of this cell and they regularly have meeting and discuss over placement. They are very supportive. The average package offered to us is usually around 4 lakhs.

One can experience the best campus life here. There is nothing called Department when it comes to plan event. Everyone works as a family. We all are same in every way possible, even in dress to because we have uniform. Discipline is very strict and compulsory to be followed.

Teachers are good. Regular classes are held. With time carriculum is updated as per the real world needs. It makes us ready for the professional life. Tests and quizes are held for assessment. All our doubts are cleared by the respective faculty.

Many companies come for placement. Mostly 80 percent of the students get a job. Highest salary offered last year was 30 thousand a month by Bijus. My college is very supportive and makes us ready to face any situation

I completed Diploma in Electrical & electronics Engineering,I have more interest on hardware field that's why i chosen this stream.Teaching is outstanding.While i'm studying curriculum is not good,but it was changed little bit for my juniors.

Placement cell was awesome,because even after students passed out from college they call us for placements.As my juniors said placements are too much improved.College took great care about placements & gives complete support.Approx 60% of students every year getting placed.

Almost every year the companies which arrives gives us a good package and many get into their deserved jobs ,almost 50% get through it. The highest package 6 lakh per annum . The avg was around 3 lakh per annum.

Student's can involve in various soprts activities inside the campus and it will be very much use full for them. If you are very high riched you may don't love the atmosphere of the campus including hostel but bathrooms are well maintained best and hygiene .

Though, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College is one of the oldest Colleges in West Bengal, it's infrastructure is good. Classrooms are well equipped. Teachers are well educated. Labs are also good in condition. College library is not sufficient enough. But, department library is satisfactory. Wi-fi is available in hostel campus. College premises are cleaned in regular interval. The hostel Life is full of enjoyment.

If you really passionate at core branches, you go for it. Otherwise, placement of non core branches is satisfactory. As it is a Government College, quality of teaching is not so good. But, the newly revised syllabus is sufficient for competitive exams. If you truly passionate about what you study, you should not worry about job.

Placement of core branches is not good. Some are placed in IT sector. Some are jobless. Placement of CSE, IT, ECE is good. But, salary is not high. Most of it around 20K. Obviously, it's not our dream job.

I am currently studying BBA in this college. Our college is under state board named MAKAUT. And it follows the curriculum and syllabus of this board only. But still some subjects should be modified. Faculties are very well experienced and are from reputed universities.

Placement quality is pretty good. We have a separate placement cell in our college. Though our course BBA doesn't have any placements. But I know the placement level of technical courses. Almost 75% students are placed every year. Last year BYJU's offered 10 lakhs to a Comp science Engineering student. Average package is around 3 lakhs.
