Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering course offered by Anna University, Chennai and approve by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications:

A pass in HSC (Academic) with Maths, Physics and Chemistry

(OR)

A pass in HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering Vocational subjects and any one or two of related subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)

(OR)

Diploma in one of the Engineering Courses (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics)

(OR)

Any other Equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education/Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu.

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances. Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than three appearances.

Minimum Marks:

For SC/ST candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination will suffice.

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have obtained the following minimum percentage of marks.

A) H.S.C. (Academic) and other equivalent candidates

OC – 45% average in the related subjects
BC – 40% average in the related subjects
MBC I DNC – 40% average in the related subjects
SC/ST – 40% average in the related subjects

B) H.S.C. (Vocational) Candidates

OC – 45% average in the related subjects
BC – 40% average in the related subjects
MBC I DNC – 40% average in the related subjects
SC/ST – 40% average in the related subjects

C) Diploma Holders

OC – 45% average in the related subjects
BC – 40% average in the related subjects
MBC I DNC – 40% average in the related subjects
SC/ST – 40% average in the related subjects

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of my college is impressive, with well-maintained academic buildings, high-tech labs, and a strong focus on cleanliness and discipline. Every department is equipped with advanced tools, and the workshops give students hands-on experience. The library is one of the biggest strengths of the college, offering a wide range of study materials, journals, and online databases. Students also have access to computer centers with high-speed internet. The hostels are comfortable and safe, providing clean rooms, quality food, and proper facilities.

College Infrastructure

All buildings in my college are spacious, neatly maintained, and equipped with the latest facilities for students. Classrooms are bright and clean, with smart boards and projectors for interactive learning. The laboratories for engineering branches like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical are well-equipped with modern tools and software. The central library is a real highlight it’s huge, air-conditioned, and filled with thousands of books, journals, and online resources. The campus Wi-Fi is reliable, and there are separate study halls for group and personal study.

College Infrastructure

The college is located in avinashi road which is one of the main areas in Coimbatore. Easily accessible to all the public transportations. The college infrastructure is well and good maintained. It has neat, spacious and ventilated classrooms for all the departments. The library here is large and has a lot of resources. Every departments have proper labs separately. The entire campus has WiFi installed including hostels and dining hall. The only drawback here is the boys hostels. They are pretty old buildings except for the final year hostel which was a newly constructed one. The hostel food could've been better and it's not upto that mark compared to other colleges in the city.
