College Infrastructure
The best thing about NIT Agartala is its sports complex it has almost everything including swimming pool and indoor basketball courts and badminton court and indoor tennis court. There is no use of smart board in the class. Jay hostels have line port but some of them don't work. The living spaces are very good but the food is average.
Academics
I was studying electronics and instrumentation engineering and the quality of teaching is good. The curriculum on the syllabus according to me is updated and the lions are very good and the curriculum does make you job ready.
Placements
The placements of CSE is very good almost every CSE student gets placed but the placement for other branches is not good only about 60 to 70% of students get placed. The average placement is around 5 lakh rupees.
Campus Life
The campus is very good but talking about the safety I am experienced earthquake and lighting. College is located within hills. The students teacher and support staff are very supportive.The best feature there is a sports complex.

This college provides different buildings for different courses . And also it have central library which is more than sufficient for reading. New construction is going on for upcoming batches so the fresher will be seeing the new organized building . Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and they maintain it very well. Laboratories have good equipment along with presentations . And the hostel hygiene is not good because my friends were complaining for this .

I am pursuing mechanical engineering from this college and the faculties are outstanding because they have years of experience. Faculty members are so nice and as they teach with practical examples. Mechanical faculties are very good.

Quality of placement is outstanding . previous year percentage was approx 80%.Highest salary package was 8 lakhs and it was from computer science branch. Average salary was 3lakhs.And yes college is very supportive for this placements

The college campus is spacious with big classrooms and well equipped facilities. The library is a blessing for students and you also have book counter for the students where you can buy books at a reasonable rate in the campus itself. There are seperate common room for girls and boys and sports room for interested students. Although, the canteen food tastes very bad and the toilets are not that clean.

The college is best for commerce as we got much experienced and knowledgeable professors for our subjects. Students can clear their doubts with the teachers even after the classes. However, I think non-bengali students may face language barrier with some teachers.

The college offers ample placement opportunities to final year students as well as passed out students. Well established companies like Amazon, Tcs, Concentrix, Indigo conducts their placement tests. The average package for commerce ranged from 12k to 22k.
Campus Life
The college organises different activities and programs for students to participate and enjoy like the sports day, Fests, Saraswati Puja, etc. The new students get a grand fresher's party conducted by their seniors. You can experience diversity in the college. The location is very convenient plus the street food outside the college is a bliss for students. However, there are some political issues faced.

Infrastructure is average here. Computer labs as well as science labs, both are well maintained and properly equipped. The library is average and is updated once a while. The classrooms are very well maintained and the whole campus is air-conditioned. Campus don't have the wi-fi facility. There are 2 basketball courts here and hostellers have the badminton court in the hostels. There are 2 large playgrounds and 2 auditoriums.

I am studying B.Tech here in IT stream.Faculty here is kind of mixed. We have some good teachers with plenty of experience while some lack the art of teaching. The thing which I adore about faculty is that it is easily approachable here. They hear your doubts and try to resolve them. The staff is very polite and helpful and the lab attendants are also experienced. I have also seen some very experienced faculty from some very good institutions(not IIT)

Placement Cell here helps students in every way possible in landing on a job. Placement ratio here is constantly rising and recently Flipkart came in the campus and offered the package of 18 LPA to a CSE stream student. Companies do visit the campus so all you have to do is hustle in a proper way. Average package here is 5-8LPA. Mostly the placement is done for CSE and IT students. Recently EC students are also getting placed but rest all courses don't stand much in the race.

Sadly, Campus life here doesnt include any wow factor. Hosteliers are not allowed outside after 6 pm which is quite unfair considering the college timings which are 9-5. Girl to boyratio are almost equal. Canteens are good and spacious nd campus is above average.

I found availability of all the facilities like health center , post office , Bank ( vijaya bank now it is owned by bank of baroda ),ATM ( SBI and Vijaya bank ) , wifi ,library ,Power supply (24×7 ) , Water supply (24 ×7) etc . There is 4 hostels for each year of student .1 st year student are admitted to SVBH ( swami vivekanand boys hostel) which is just near to Academic building so that 1 st year student can easily go in academic hours.

After establishment MNNIT allahabad is considered as Institute of national importance in 2002 . Faculty are well trained and educated from various IITs . My three years in the college were amazing. Faculty is very amazing, they are always helpful. Talking about infrastructure, It is among the top 3 colleges infrastructure-wise (I have gone to all the colleges of North campus). Library facility is the best. Fully Air conditioned. I guess Khalsa college has the best library in the North campus. Talking about fees structure, fees in Khalsa college is higher than any other college of DU. In some courses it is even 3 times of the other colleges.

Every year many students clear IIT-JAM exam and get the top ranks. They are studying in top Universities like IIT, JNU and DU after graduating. Teachers are quite relaxed with internals, but you have to perform well.
Placements
Science students can sit in placements but usually companies hire Commerce or Economics students. Placement cell is quite active, but still it lags in providing placements to science students. Obviously, science students cannot clear the interviews of finance and marketing based companies.

Khalsa college is very near to metro station, 100-150m far. So, it is easy to reach the college. I guess North campus has its own perks, you can interact with other colleges students. But, it is not far from other colleges not very near. You can go to other colleges fests and enjoy. You can participate in many competitions in other colleges.
