PIET – A Perfect Blend of Academics and Campus Life
College Infrastructure
PIET has a modern infrastructure equipped with modern facilities. Honestly, i didn't expect this level of infrastructure from a college located in Panipat. But, my opinions changed from the day i entered this college. I'm pursuing B.Tech CSE, and we get every facility that is needed for our program. There are dedicated labs for each subject, such as AR/VR Labs, Programming Labs, and IOT Labs. Also, PIET has a library with a large collection of books and e-resources. A gym, badminton court, tennis court, and indoor facilities for sports are all included in the infrastructure.
Academics
The Computer Science Engineering Department at PIET is Haryana's only NBA-accredited department. Every year, the CSE department organizes the International Confrence on Computational Intelligence and Computer Applications. And this year, i also got a chance to be a part of that event. Dr. S.C. Gupta is our Head of Department. He has a PhD degree, and his area of interest is software engineering and software testing. He makes the hard concepts of computer science easy to understand. Other professors are also good, with years of academic and professional experience.
Placements
Placements at PIET are handled by the Career Advancement Cell. The Career Advancement Cell provides us training right from the first semester, which includes mock interview sessions, skill development classes, workshops, and mentorship programs. The average package offered to students is 5 LPA, and the highest package goes upto 1 Cr. Accenture, HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and SAP Labs are the recruiters for the CSE students.
Campus Life
PIET is an institute which enhnaces every aspect of student life. PIET is not all anout studying for long hours without any fun or break; PIET offers a combination of studies and extracurricular activities. Every other day, there is something happening on the campus, whether a celebrity comes to promote their music or movie, or whether there is a session of expert talks. During Maestros 2026, i got a chance to take a selfie with famous Haryanvi celebrities, Aman Jaji and Pranjal Dahiya. Also, our theatre group performed before their performance, and we got first prize for that.

College infrastructure is great and we are provided with all the facilities like wifi over there. The campus is clean and green. The classes have smart boards there. The college provide free library card in which wr can get any books

I am studying in bachelor of arts because i have interest in subjects which come in arts stream and also it is very beneficial for my future job and it secure my future. I have choice to choose subjects which i want.
Placements
The government college rarely gives placements to student every year about 10 percent of students get placement by the college . The students needs to get score 96 plus in their fields to get placements.

Our college gives placement to students who got ninety five plus percentage in their studies. Most of studenta get plcement by college every year and earning happily im their life. College gives us many oppurtunities.

The academic environment of my college is very good. I am pursuing B.Com, and the teachers explain every topic in a simple and understandable way. The faculty members are experienced, supportive, and always ready to help students. The syllabus is covered on time, and regular tests and assignments help us improve our knowledge and skills. Overall, the quality of education is excellent.

The college provides guidance and support for students regarding career opportunities. Faculty members encourage students to develop their skills and participate in various activities. Although placements can be improved further, the college staff is very supportive and always motivates students to achieve their career goals.

As a student of Sri Vasavi Engineering College, Tadepalligudem, I feel the college has both strengths and weaknesses, but the negatives are often ignored during admissions. A Good Start for Management Students

As a BBA student from the 2025–2028 batch, I feel the curriculum provides a good foundation in management concepts. Most faculty members are approachable and supportive. However, I believe there should be more industry-oriented workshops, case studies, and practical business exposure to help students understand real-world challenges better.

Since I am still in the early years of my course, I have mainly learned about placements through seniors. The university provides placement support, but students who actively develop communication skills, internships, and certifications seem to have better opportunities. Placement outcomes depend significantly on individual effort.

I world rate 8/10 for placement if you have knowledge and strength then the college will definitely provide placement offers. About 80% of students get placed who have participated in placements .i must say the faculty guild properly and help you to get the best placement.

The placements are pretty average because even in a tier 1 city it's a tier 2 college. Even the engineering faculty doesn't have placement of above 80% and even management faculty faces the same issues.

the college did provided placement opportunities. I was also placed in one of the company, though the initial package offer is less, but at least the college tries to bring opportunities for the students to start their career at some point.

My college have a great college infrastructure. I came from a small town, but I am happy that I have the privilege to study in this college with big classrooms. So many students and huge crowd. I am happy with the college infrastructure.

I am currently pursuing MBA in strategy and consulting in collaboration with KPMG, and the quality of teaching is not the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field and yes, my study makes me job ready.

Approx 80 to 90% of our students get placed in good companies the highest salary for the year 2024 to 26 was around 29 LPA and the average salary is around 8 to 9 LPA and the lowest can go up till 4 to 5 LPA

You can find a lot of activities engaged in there are a lot of clubs for the interest of each and every student the teachers are very supportive. The location is in between the mountains. It is safe and it can handle emergencies.
