Second year in CSE is where the foundational fluffy drops and real computer science begins. You dive headfirst into Data Structures , Discrete Maths, Java/OOPS ,OS and Computer Organization. Under MGIT'S autonomous framework, the academic tempo picks up fast.

While formal drives are still two years away, second year is when placement awareness becomes real. You watch final year seniors clear rounds , learning what the market expects. Some teachers are really very help while some are not and yes the curriculum is updated and includes sll thr recemt developments in the field the environment of the campus is very very nice And yes i think what you study makes you job ready

The quality of placement is quite good at my college i guess more that fourty percent of students were placed and obv it depends on your qualification and i think highest package offered was about six to seven lacks pa I wont say that the placement process was easy but it is not that bad and also college is quite supportive

For me nothing is worst as i also memrioned earlier that i really like the campus and overall environment the students are not very good and teachers and supporting staff some are good while some are not Location is average and i dont think so that it will be able to handle emergencies that well

My campus life is simple and mostly good and i enjoy spending time with my friends and attending classes together and We also do practical work and assignments as a group and my college environment is okay for students

Our college collabs with many companies for the placement of the students also we have placement cell separately in our college which mainly focus for the placement of the students they regularly updated everything in the official group of the placement the average salary of the students who the campus selection is around 30000 around it is depends on the company's and the skills of the students the last year cutout of the students who got campus selection is around 60% something.

The campus life is very cool because in our campus we have all facilities not doubt the campus is small but have everything in it we have canteen,all types of labs,NCC we also have Gym in our college we have many sports everything we have in our college we feel very safe when we are inside the college overall the campus life is very cozy and peaceful.

The college is spacious but has to be maintained neatly classrooms are old mainly because the university is old. lab facilities are good for science students but as i’m from sociology i don’t have lab. Wifi for teachers and in the system in college are quite slow, library helps alot in studies, hostels are hard to get in, sports day and other activities main attractions

I completed my BA. Sociology and i did that course out of my interest in history and its mainly because it was also easy for me but cannot be everyone’s cup of tea. You need have good memory and mugging up skills.Yes the curriculum is upto date with necessary portions for each semester, including all recent developments in the country, every year according to the changes in the field, as my course demands alot of external work just focusing on theory part wouldn’t make us job-ready. Placements are so not strong for most of the departments especially sociology department mainly because UG is not so highly qualified degree for getting a good job and develop our skills not sure of the placement department activites

3years of UG life felt comfortable that was mainly because of the friendly environment created by the students and the teachers. All our regional festivals are celebrated with full enthusiasm, the college is in the centre of town which makes it easier to commute using public transportation, but the technical side of handling certificates online, portals but website mostly get jammed are still progressing

College Infrastructure
Yes, Psychology department comparatively good there. But i guess there should be advanced lab structure and apparatus for assessments and practicals. Yes they have good campus wifi, which is something positive frome there. Pondicherry University have common and separate libraries which have good collections of books and resources. They also have separate sports centres basketball, badminton, cricket etc. I guess they are all well maintained.

Im studying Msc Applied Psychology, i love psychology and something that have my high interest and and i felt im capable. Quality of teaching is actually better, some professors are high educated here. Curriculum should be updated i guess . Over-all syllabus is manageable for students here.
Placements
Our department doesn't have placement, our area i slike we only have to find accordingly to our interest and also by entrance exams. Some departments like MBA, have good placements here. Im not sure of how many students got placements. They used to conduct some aptitude test for these placements .
Campus Life
Campus life is best because this campus is 24 hours free, thete is no curfew or restriction here. Also we have good night life here . Students can engage in various activities like sports, studying in library or any other activities. Good here, location is center to pondicherry where good food, and good places are near.

Yes the campus is really good and really big, dayapuram residential school is very famous the college is also well known. As english didn’t have much lab works to do not sure about lab facilities but i haven’t heard any problems from other department. Library is very huge and has almost all english books for reference.Yes the college is well maintained. Washrooms are hygienic, hostels is really good hostel mess is also really good. I recommend college hostel

I took literature because i like reading and writing out of my understanding rather than mugging up english gave that freedom to write our answers in such a way. Teachers are helpful. Curriculum is updated on yearly basis. As my field needs patience to grow just this course wouldn’t help anybody reach a job but it sure does kay a good foundation for our skills.

Placement is weak especially for english but even for other management courses i haven’t heard much, but you get good scholarships to complete the course that is real advantage. Placements works are not so transparent as far as i remember also college website doesn't mention anything of that sort so there’s no false hopes before joining.

Our college has very good infrastructure with almost all the facilities. It also has space for different activities overall I like the infrastructure of the college. But one more thing to add i think there should be a big auditorium in college for some important events like for more people to be seated.
