The quality of placements are good at our college. Around 90% of the students were placed this year. The highest salary package was around 40LPA and it went to Computer Science branch. Average salary was around 11LPA. The placement process was easy and college is supportive.

I have been to the college for some admission work, and I have noticed that the college is kept hygienic and clean. Speaking about facilities, there are separate departments for every branch and each department is big enough. Well, due to current COVID environment, I am unable to get in contact with many seniors... But I am informed about the latest placements happened in the college. Over 90 students were placed in 'Persistence', 'Wipro' and many other companies. While there was slack in many institutes in Pune, students from Walchand were placed in variety of companies with good starting packages.

Batch of 21 have to compromize with VNIT campus .but in dec of 2021 all the student were shifted permenently to new beautiful 60 acres campus of IIIT nagpur.IIIT Nagpur has now shifted to the new campus, which has all high-class facilities. There is a good Wi-Fi facility. The food served in the mess is not good but edible. The hostel is good, and there is no night mess.

The building is good but of a very old design. the campus has no cricket ground, no proper garden, no proper inter-departmental roads, not any grand seminar hall, no indoor ground, no proper arrangement of water in every department, no hostel for boys.
