All the teachers are PhD and mtech qualified teachers. The curriculum is up to date every year according to the industry trends. I am doing b.tech biotechnology and getting access to the well-equipped labs are a boon. Even in pandemic, the rigor of studying and exams were maintained by our teachers. The placement opportunities are really good if one is capable enough in their field and the curriculum definitely evolves along with the help of our professional teachers who are always eager to share updated information about our field.

Placements for CSE/ECE/EEE/IT are really good with higher packages upto 30-40 lakhs PA but for other fields like biotech, chemical, mechanical, etc it is 4-5 lakhs and wont really suffice the need of an outgoing undergraduate student in today's world. I wasn't part of the placement process myself but I have seen the rigor of my fellow friends and the grilling/ competitive rounds they undergo through. Coding is a plus to a very large extent if you want to apply to software companies.

Campus of my college is very vaste. It is covered with lush green areas which is a delite to our eyes. Best features include state of the art infrastructure. Worst thing that I found is the number of students that are studying here. Around 35K students come to the campus daily, which is terrible in my opinion. Location is Gharuan, near Mohali and Chandigarh too. It's safe and can handle emergencies.

I'M a computer science undergrad, and studies there are like at the end you've to study from your end. some professors are good enough but not all. Some teach in all their classes and some don't. The syllabus is up to date but not as much as all other engineering colleges you teach. New tech stack teaching happens in our summer training.

This year's placement is the worst ever very few companies join our on-campus placement, most of the companies are for their training course promotions they take our details through our college placement shell, and after the company visits they call us to take their paid training courses. In Holi boys and girls are not allowed to celebrate Holi after a few hours only. There is two basketball court and one football court, a gym and all the facilities needed is available. Yes, It does have a very high class of infrastructure, facilities and equipments . In classroom, we have 5-occupancy long desk and bench. For each student there is a LAN port and two Power Plugs. Also there are smart boards, and projectors in each class. Centralized AC system. Cafeterias for buying food items. All labs are filled with required equipments. Library is open for all students for almost 14-16 hours. Campus has two basketball grounds,football grounds, Indoor and Outdoor GYM.

I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE(AI). I am in my 3rd Sem. Faculty is good and experiences. Facullty allows students to ask doubts and they repeat the topic if not understand by majority. Faculty which I got to learn from helps lot in academics.

PSIT is known for Placements. Seniors say if you are in PSIT, you will be placed. There are Technical and Verbal training classes from 3rd Sem onwards. There is special training of two hours called Elite Batch Training for some selected students for higher package. These students are selected through Hackathon results, OLTs, etc. Highest package offered was 40 lacs from B.Tech(CSE). Average package is 5 lacs. Placement drives starts from 6th sem onwards.
