All facilities are provided to a certain extent. Campus infrastructure is ok. Classrooms are old. The living area is not that hygienic. Management should take special care in cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.
Academics
I'll be writing my final year exams this year. It's an open university. They provide classes only on Sundays. Even though lectures are well understandable. Faculty members will also cooperate with students.
Placements
As it is a open university and a government college they do not provide any campus placement for us. If would be very helpful for students if they provide campus placements in government colleges also.

The college provides good infrastructure, facilities like smart learning, etc. The college has a very good library with good books and spacious classrooms. The hostel is also good with very good quality food. The quality if teaching here is awesome and the teachers are very helpful when it comes to helping a student.

I like the faculty and I feel I had the best environment for my studies. I learned many new things from my teachers who were very helpful in every way they could. The teacher-student interaction was great. The teachers were very friendly because of which I could clarify many of my doubts.

College provides us with many internship plus training. And it also conduct placement drive with companies .you will get a good mentor plus exposure to many things plus get a good knowledge of your course.

Infra is good, even provide all the resources required. There are no hostels so need to make arrangements ourselves. All classes are smart classes with use of smart boards. Campus is very small hence feels clustered sometimes.

Faculties are nice. They are helpful and guide us properly. You can ask some faculties queries n number of times and they will help you through the same. Curriculum is updated every year with new courses added.

College has Umbrella placement, hence everyone is given equal opportunities regarding sitting for placements. Everyone has a chance to get a good package and organisation irrespective of their program.

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is located just on the outskirts of the city of Guwahati and is well connected to other parts of the country by road, rail or air. There are direct air services from/to Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata with connectivity to all major cities in the country and direct train services from/to all the metropolis and other major cities. Air India, Jet Airways,Jetlite, Kingfisher, IndiGo, SpiceJet and GoAir operate regular flights to and from Guwahati.

Best in business. The professors are very professional and best in business. We are blessed to have such faculties. The curriculum is also not burdening so you can always go for other activities. They are very cooperative.

Great.Content Curator IIT Guwahati inaugurated its 2020-21 placement season on December 1, 2020. The entire process was conducted online, wherein a total of 69 offers were made. On Day-2, a total of 486 offers were made which also included 133 pre-placement offers (PPOs). The packages for domestic offers have witnessed a sharp rise to about INR. 70 LPA this year. The highest domestic package offered this year is said to be higher in comparison to last year’s INR. 52 LPA.

Most beautiful campus. It is the greenest campus among all the Indian institute of technology. The air is fresh. We enjoy studying and doing other activities here. It is also well maintained and the student community also contributes towards its cleanliness.

No, there is no facilities in our college. No infrastructure are in th college. Our college has no big libraries, classrooms, sports ground etc. No separate building for the department, just all are mingled in tha same building.

I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical engineering. Quality of Teaching was worst. There is no experienced teachers in our departments. Curriculum should have to be updated and needs to include recent developments.

No placements for students in our college. There is no campus placements and students have to search for job by themselves. Our college is not supportive in the placements but it should have to be improved.

College infrastructure is the best. No doubt IIT GUWAHATI has too many good hostels and also with very good facilities. College have sac buildings for club activities. Guest houses are no less than a perfect 3 star hotels. Morever Library, computer center, lecture halls all are beautifully builted.

About academics in civil is bit good. In the first year all have same subjects. In 2nd year you will study core subjects like geology, structural analysis etc. These all are interesting in academic point of view.
Placements
Pacements in civil are ok type. Core placements are increased in recent years. Non core like in SDE are good. Sticking to core if you choose civil is a good option in my view. You can also go to non core, there are ample number of companies that come in non cores.

Our Campus is one of the most beautiful campus in all over India. The climate and the natural beauty which covers all over the campus makes it just perfect. College has various clubs like cultural, dance, social, etc. Overall IIT GUWAHATI is a very good option to choose as a dream college.

Currently I am studying Electronics and communication engineering since it is second favourable branch after computer science. academics is really good. all the professors are highly qualified, punctual and very helpfull. College tries to teach students latest things related to their branch.

placement data is good. Average package in EEE is 16 lakhs and in CS is 20 lakhs. Highest package is around 50 lakhs. Almost all big comanies like google, microsoft, wallmart, etc comes to college for placements. College is also very supportive regarding placements, as they also need to keep their reputation good.

As my college is in goa, so there are many beaches and places to visit. Campus is really beautiful, and students organise 3 fests per year which is lit.

Quality of placement is too good. The salary package is 60000 pa to 2.4 lpa. Percentage is not same every year. Placement system is very pleasant and clg staf are very supportive. They also teach how to give interview for jobs.

We don't have direct placements done from our college, but studying in Loreto College opens wide range of options for the students as we are not only trained academically but also we are taught to enhance our soft skills, personality and public dealing. Therefore, students when go in the outer world are always welcomed. We can find a Loreto student in almost every field be it fashion, events, acting or other educational fields.

The campus life in Loreto is peaceful, but enjoyable. We have lawns covered with lush green grass and huge trees. The best feature of our college campus is the canteen, which is never found empty.
