Rooms like Central Instrumentation hall, Machine rooms, Laboratory and lecture halls. Atleast they are equipped but the classrooms need to improve. The buildings built are bare and they are just built. In total there are 3 departmental blocks.
I have enrolled in the Bachelors course in Pharmacy here. The teachers and professors are good but you have to put on a lot of effort from your side if you want to keep up with the students. The course remains updated prima facie and the seminars/workshop makes you job ready.
The quality of the placements here have been average since a couple of years. Well, I am not complaining that the companies don't come but the problem is that packages offered are like 1.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA starting. Companies like Reddy's lab, Sun Pharma, Apollo, etc come to our college.
Okayish but not satisfied. The course costs around 3 Lakhs for the four years course. Although it's less when compared to other private colleges but still it must offer more is what I feel. From non academic perspective the situation needs to improve.
Campus Life is good. There are picnics every year. Annual fests are quite a joy and workshops for personal growth is important as well. There is this cricket league which happens every year and students from our college are Highly participative.
Think twice and do your research properly before going to this college.
So, I will be honest here, the infrastructure is not that good. the college has its one main block and has one hostel. If you enter the campus, you will feel like the buildings have been built on grounds. Although, it has basic units like Central instrumentation room, machine room and lecture hall. They all are tidy.
I am doing my BPharma here. The teaching is average but if the student is inquisitive then he/she can make the most out of the professors. The course is updated and there re enough laboratories, libraries, workshops, etc which makes you job ready.
The placements are good. companies like ranbaxy, Apollo, dr. reddy's lab, etc do come on a regular basis. Many are placed in industry like pharma covigilance, clinical trials, drug discoveries, etc. Expect CTC 2-3 LPA starting.
Well, the fees is quite low, its like around 50000/year. now, if you include the hostel fees, its around 90000/ year. I won't say that I am satisfied fully but yes, as per the money what college offers is okay.
Pharmacy Cricket League, Workshops, Sports and annual function, etc takes place every year. This keeps the students in engaging in non academic activities as well. Also, a picnic is arranged every year on a regular basis.
I am satisfied as per my capability. Had the student unlike me gets further opportunity, I would also like to pursue MPharma from here only. The basic requirements as per the curriculum and the student's need is achieved. The college has to do better in conducting its teaching practices.
