School of Planning and Architecture, University of Mysore (SPA Mysore) is one of the constituent college founded in the year 2015. This is an architecture and urban planning higher learning institution based in Mysore, Karnataka. SPA Mysore is located in a 15 acre plot of land that allows for good learning and innovation. The college is recognised by the Council of Architecture in order to meet the specifications of architectural education.

Among the few noticeable facilities in SPA Mysore are the modern facilities to facilitate learning among the students. The college library is a well stocked information centre which has books, reports, national and international journals and periodicals. In terms of practical learning, the institution has outfitted a computer laboratory that boasts high powered processors as well as current drafting and visualisation software. For leisure and health improvement, there are facilities of sport on campus. The college cafeteria provides South India food recipes and snacks at very low cost with the intention of making a standard common dining area for students and staffs.

At present, SPA Mysore offers five programmes. The flagship  programme is the five-year full time Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch) with 60 students intake. However, for those who want to pursue further education, the college commenced a two years Master of Architecture in Urban Design (M.Arch Urban Design) course, with the seats of 20 only. In addition, SPA Mysore offers an undergraduate programme, B.Plan, postgraduate programme – M.Tech Urban and Regional Planning, and doctoral programme, Ph.D in Urban and Regional Planning.

The selection of students at SPA Mysore is much intended for the identification of prospective candidates capable of studying architecture and planning. For the B.Arch programme, NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture is compulsory test to get admitted in the programme.
