While the college had an atmosphere that is truly national, considering the students were from all parts of the country, the faculty and the students were connected with one another by focusing on what matters. The faculty, who carried industry experience made it a point to provide a practical outlook to management theories. Rather than conducting seminars and fests, the curriculum made it a point to make students aware of the market and the outside world, by closely interacting with particular strata of society, which might have been alien to them before they joined the management course. The idea is simple, to make them comfortable by making them uncomfortable first. The accommodation or food facilities seemed pretty average, considering the fees paid at that time. We went through a period when the market was down, and was trying to pick and this had effected our placement options. The college should have tried more to diversify the option, rather than mostly going for pure marketing profile of not so well known firms.

Past two years of my life have given me a greater vision of my future.I m talking about scms college where I did my MBA and the place where I was moulded to what I am now.It was for the first time that i stayed away from my parents in a hostel.it was little bit difficult for me as it was the first time.Eventually everything went smoothly However it was a great experience for me . We had 24 hrs WiFi and very neat rooms and a helpful warden. Each student had a mentor where we can share our queries, both personal or academic related ,they were ready to help us.So we have a very good teachers who has lots of experience and knowledge. The best thing about our college is that ,other than academics they give importance to non academics activities .we had lots of programmes conducted in order to develop our managerial and communication skills and to wipe out shyness and fear. Every semester we do have a personality development program conducted by professional trainers from outside. And also conferences, seminars and presentations from eminent personalities. Our colg is well disciplined and punctuality is something that they values a lot. Our college has an excellent placements and they even give us special trainings before sitting attend placements. It was like a second home for me where I got good friends who are my best buddies now.I assure that no one will regret studying here.
