Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, or Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. marks are taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of the general category and forty percent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes: Provided that in respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five percent. in the case of the General category and forty percent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
  2. No candidate shall be admitted to the B.A.M.S Degree program unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program: Provided that, the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and disabled candidates.

Admission Details

  1. There shall be a uniform entrance examination for all medical institutions at the undergraduate level, namely the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate programs in each academic year and shall be conducted by an authority designated by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.
  2. To be considered for admission to the undergraduate program for an academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at the 50th percentile in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for the undergraduate program held for the said academic year:

Provided that in respect of,-

  1. candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be at the 40th percentile;
  2. candidates with specified disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016) the minimum marks shall be at the 45th percentile in the case of general category and 40th percentile in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes:

    Provided further that where a sufficient number of candidates in the respective category fail to secure minimum marks in the National Eligibility - cum - Entrance Test held for any academic year for admission to the undergraduate program, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine in consultation with the Central Government may at its discretion lower the minimum marks required for admission to the undergraduate program for candidates belonging to respective category and marks so lowered by the Central Government shall be applicable for that academic year only.
  3. An All-India common merit list, as well as a State-wise merit list of the eligible candidates, shall be prepared based on the marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and the 34 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] candidates, within the respective category, shall be considered for admission to under-graduate program from the said merit lists only.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of each building is excellent. It's easy to find all facilities for newcomers. The Wi-Fi connections have average speed, sufficient for uploading and downloading. Both e-library and physical library facilities are available. The classrooms are clean and in good condition.
