SGV Ayurvedic Medical College, Bailhongal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college offers separate hostel facilities for boys on the college campus. We have 33 rooms in a boys’ hostel. These rooms accommodate 100 male students. Each room is provided with wardrobes, cots, bookshelves, a study table with sitting chairs, fans, and bathrooms. Both hostels are constructed with a hygienic kitchen where quality food will be cooked and served with utmost care. A well-designed dining hall accommodates 60 students in the boys' hostel at a time. Only vegetarian food will be served at the hostel. The warden of the hostel will monitor efficiency and quality. Recreation rooms, colour televisions, and phone facilities are also provided in the hostel.

The college has Separate hostel facilities available for girls on the college campus. We have 25 rooms in a girls’ hostel. These rooms accommodate 75 girls students. Each room is provided with wardrobes, cots, bookshelves, a study table with sitting chairs, fans, and bathrooms. Both hostels are constructed with a hygienic kitchen where quality food will be cooked and served with utmost care. A well-designed dining hall accommodates 40 students in the girls' hostel at a time. Only vegetarian food will be served at the hostel. The warden of the hostel will monitor efficiency and quality. Recreation rooms, colour televisions, and phone facilities are also provided in the hostel.

The college has a hospital that provides outpatient medical services in all specialties. The consultation will be available for the public from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days, 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM on Sundays and general holidays. Approximately 100 - 150 patients attend the OPD every day. In-Patient Department: A total of 60 beds are distributed across various departments separately for Males and Females, with all basic amenities like cots & beds, toilets & bathrooms, hot water, and all clinical requirements. We have two categories of wards general ward and the special ward. A sufficient number of efficient and experienced medical & paramedical staff, therapists, and technicians man the hospital. The hospital is equipped with a panchakarma theatre and special treatment rooms. There is an operating theatre to conduct surgery and para-surgical procedures. The skilled and dedicated nursing staff is also available in the hospital.

The college has A spacious library room in the college building with a large quantity of books, publications, and magazines. The college has provided separate reading compartments for both boys and girls. The library also has computers with internet facilities to help the students gain knowledge through “Helinet”. The management intends to convert the same into a digital library.

The college will provide full support to all sports and extracurricular activities & the non-academic growth of students. A big outdoor playground is located on a college campus where students can play cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, throw the ball, play badminton, shuttlecock, tennis, etc. We also have an athletic track and an indoor playroom.

The college has an IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college/hospital campus has a food court where you can get a variety of quality foods.

The college has a big auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 people. It is spacious enough for seminars and guest lectures organized by the students and the faculty. Every year, sports and cultural events take place here, and the students have an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The college has 1 own bus to provide transportation to students.

The College possesses a well-equipped hi-tech laboratory with modern equipment per CCIM norms and helps conduct experiments/examinations as required for pursuing the course. The laboratory is open for students during college hours under the observation of a lab technician. The laboratory can also be open for the public to diagnose their problems accurately by taking minimal charges.

The college has classroom is the most important place for any school or college where the transfer of knowledge will be carried out. We have scientifically planned classrooms amid nature to facilitate calm, peace, and concentration-oriented facilitation of theory classes successfully. The lecture halls are well-ventilated with all necessary fittings and furniture as per CCIM norms for conducting lectures without disturbance. Our classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic & focused discussions.
