The Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Pharmacy (SVBIP), Vasan, and soon earned the honour of being a reputed institution in pharmaceutical education. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, the institution runs three courses under two undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The admission in SVBIP goes through merit, which considers the candidates' performance in respective entrance examinations recognized for different programs. The B.Pharma admission requires the candidate to appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) or NEET for that corresponding admission year. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The B.Pharma program at SVBIP has been granted an approved intake of 60 students. Admission is done based on the performance of candidates in GUJCET or NEET. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have appeared and passed either of the mentioned examinations in the current admission year.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: This postgraduate program has an approved intake capacity of 15 students. For the purpose of admission, candidates must have a valid GPAT score or Gujarat PGCET score as prescribed by ACPC.
M.Pharma Quality Assurance: This program likewise has an approved intake of 15 students; tutelage is offered in the same manner as this advanced degree in Pharmaceutics. Admission criteria are similar and consist of a valid GPAT or Gujarat PGCET score, following ACPC guidelines.
