The college has a library. As Strength Increased, Books Were Also Added Every Year, And A Separate Room Was Allotted To The Library. In Due Course Of Time, The Business Of The Library Increased And The Post Of The Library Was Created As Per The UGC Norms And The Librarian Was Appointed In The Year 1977. In The Year 1997, The Library Was Shifted Into The Separate Library Building Constructed Under UGC Grants In the 8th Plan. The College Library Is Supported By The UGC Grants. The Library Is Separately Located on the College Campus, The Area Is About 1800 Sqft. The Library Is Well Ventilated With Adequate Facilities. The Reading Room Facility Is Separately Made Available For Boys And Girls And Staff.

At Present College Library Has 55175. Books And Almost 28. Periodicals And 12 Magazines Of Various Subjects, In The Year 2009, The College Library Purchased The Automation Software SOUL 2.0, And Now The Library Is Computerized, And Circulation And Other Activities are Done By The Computer.

There Are Two Separate Reading Rooms With a Seating Capacity Of 50 Students. The Reference Section Contains Books, Journals, And Magazines, Which Help the Teacher And Students with Their Study Work. The Library Is Open From 7.30 To 5.30 P.M. On All Working Days, Except Holidays And Sundays.

The College has a very active science department. Which has its present from the inception of the college in 1973. SSMM College has very well-equipped Laboratories. The college has 6 main Laboratories viz. Chemistry (2), Biology (2), Physics (2). Every Laboratory has all the apparatus & instruments required with the latest technology. Laboratories support Quality Control & Research & Development for both faculty & students. The laboratory has all facilities as per standards & Regulations. The Laboratory Department is promoting students & faculty for Research & Development Projects under the UGC Scheme. The Laboratory Department is mainly concerned with all three major departments of science, viz. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Math/Stat. These are the oldest departments in the college, with a good reputation for academic excellence at the North Maharashtra University

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

The college has a sports facility for all students. The Motto Of Our Department Is “Health Is Wealth”. Lack Of Physical Activity Is A Major Underlying Cause Of Many Diseases, Disabilities, Etc. Moreover, People From All Walks Of Life Can Undertake Routine Physical Activities. Which Will Protect Them From The Range Of Diseases Caused By Day-To-Day Lifestyles. Exercising Regularly And Practicing Sports Open The Doors To A Healthy Life.

Along With The Academic Education, The Physical Development Is A Significant Aspect Of Human Life. Our Department Takes Due Care To Provide Students With A Balanced Physical Development Programme.

Most Of Our Students Belong To Rural Area And Are Not Familiar With Games. Our Department Tries To Encourage The Students To Participate In All Kinds Of Games And Offer Them Every Possible Opportunity To Bring Out The Hidden Sports Talent.

 The college has a gym facility for all students.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has encouraged extracurricular activities like NSS, NCC, Arts and crafts, Etc.
