Good infrastructure with all the facilities available from wifi , ac labs and library. Good campus, decent labs, basic systems; classrooms have projectors. Library support is fair. Needs upgraded tools & better digital facilities for MCA. Overall okay for a govt-aided college.
Academics are decent with a structured syllabus under RTMNU. Faculty is experienxed , knowledgeable and supportive. More focus on practical exposure and industry projects would improve learning quality.
Zero placements available.. no companies visited our college and scheduled interview . While admission the college faculties were saying that placements are avaliable and students got placed in various companies but it never happened!
Compared to other colleges in nagpur for MCA , shivaji science is a good one rest everything is good.Affordable course and scholarship is also available for students.MCA at Shivaji Science College is affordable with low fees. For the cost, students get good academic support, decent infrastructure, and a government-certified degree—worth the investment overall.
Various activities, online informative classes ,live training sessions , were held in college.Campus life is peaceful and disciplined. Students enjoy cultural events, tech fests, and seminars. Friendly environment with supportive peers and faculty, though extracurriculars are limited.
It's good and nice it gives a nice and pleasant vibes covering with lot of trees as it gives peace. Overall the Infrastrucute is so good. Especially I like the area which is covered by trees. Thankyou
Academics is overall good and the faculites and also well experienced and talented . But it's always about how we adapted and learn from anyone. Academics is well balanced and quite effective as per me
Talking about the placement it's not good . Because the college do not give placement and also no company comes to the college for hiring process . So nothing to talk about the placement . They should give placement
the college infrastructure is having very good facilities for students . with a well equiped classrooms ,libraries and good sports ground.an computer lab for students to enhance their skills.it has an hostel facility also in the campus area .
the academic experience is decent with a team of qualified faculty members and a structured curriculum .the curriculum is based on both the practical and theorotical learning. the syllabus is all covered by rtmnu university with all the key concepts of subject
in shivaji science placements are weaker with very less number of companies visiting the college with less packages .students have to rely on off campus placements than on on-campus. their is an need of improvement in making the connections with industries.
Shivaji Science College does have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities for students. We were having AC practical labs for cs subject ,library with wifi allowance and spacious desks .No smarts boards were available in classrooms. There's no canteen in college but overall was clean surrounding and with all minimum facilities.
I studied here B.Sc Cs and teaching was good weekly practical's and daily classes were scheduled , daily attendance was also necessary , we were having all kinds of cs subject mostly practically based to understand thoroughly .
There is no placement no companies come in this college , not even a single company come and we got interviewed so no chance for placements , we were not even made job ready , not even trained nothing!
B.Sc. is a course which does cost much money , and can be said value for money or worthy enough ! Also eliminating minority and open caste other students can apply for college scholarships which can easily cut off fees make it more cheaper and affordable.
Campus life is average just no events no fun activities, but yes teachers are friendly , supportive , helping . Location is also good and also safe for students . Those students who live far away can live in college hostel itself which have some strict rules for students safety.
I would recommend this college just for undergraduate students only , for PG would not recommend this college!
The college infrastructure is decent with essential facilities like spacious classrooms, a central library, basic laboratories.Wi-Fi is available in some areas, but connectivity is inconsistent. The campus is clean but lacks modern amenities like a digital resource center or advanced lab equipment. Hostel facilities are average, with basic hygiene maintained. More upgrades and maintenance are needed to match current educational standards and student expectations
The academic structure of the college is well-organized with a strong focus on curriculum and regular assessments. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, often encouraging students to participate in seminars and projects. Most courses are updated to match industry trends, and practical learning is given importance. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of integrating more real-world applications and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
The placement opportunities are limited, with few reputed companies visiting the campus. Most offers come from local firms with low salary packages. Training sessions are basic and not industry-focused. Students often rely on off-campus efforts to secure jobs. The placement cell needs improvement in support and company outreach.
The campus boasts 38 well-equipped laboratories catering to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs, ensuring hands-on learning experiences. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and furnished with modern teaching aids, including audio-visual projectors, enhancing the learning environment.
The college provides B.Sc. degrees in disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Geology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, and Forensic Science. For postgraduate studies, M.Sc. programs are available in fields like Chemistry, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. Additionally, the institution offers Ph.D. programs in select disciplines, fostering a strong research culture.
The college has successfully facilitated campus and off-campus placement drives, inviting reputed companies to recruit students. Notably, in a recent placement drive, companies such as Pfizer Pharmaceutical India Pvt. Ltd., Sci-Edge Abstract, and SHODH Advanced Technologies participated, offering positions to a considerable number of student
The college infrastructure is well-developed and modern, offering a clean and student-friendly environment. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. The library is spacious with a wide collection of academic and reference books. Laboratories are well-maintained and stocked with the latest equipment. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and there are dedicated spaces for sports and recreational activities. Hostel facilities are decent with good security and hygiene standards. The campus is green and regularly maintained, contributing to a pleasant learning atmosphere.
The academic environment of the college is strong and well-structured. The curriculum is regularly updated to meet industry standards, and most faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. Lectures are conducted regularly, and practical sessions are emphasized to enhance understanding. Internal assessments, assignments, and projects are used to track student performance. Various seminars, workshops, and guest lectures are organized to provide additional learning opportunities. While there is room for more advanced research exposure, overall academic quality is commendable.
The college offers a robust placement support system, featuring a dedicated placement cell that actively connects students with potential employers. Regular training sessions enhance students' soft skills, resume writing, and interview techniques. The institution maintains strong ties with various industries, facilitating campus recruitment drives that attract reputable companies. While top-tier placements are competitive, the college ensures that a significant percentage of eligible students secure job offers before graduation. Overall, the placement process is well-organized, providing students with ample opportunities to embark on their professional journeys.
The college has a nice and clean campus. Classrooms are big and have smart boards. Labs have all the equipment needed for practicals. There is a good library with internet and enough books. Wi-Fi works well across the campus. There are good places for sports and relaxing. The seminar hall is modern and used for guest talks and events.
Teachers are very helpful and explain topics clearly. They have good knowledge and support students in learning. The syllabus is updated as per new trends. Students get to attend workshops, seminars, and do projects. Tests happen regularly, so learning stays on track.
Placements are okay but not great. Some good companies come, but mostly average ones. Most students get jobs with a normal salary. There are not many companies from core fields. The college has a placement cell that helps students prepare, but more big companies should be invited. Many students have to apply outside the college for better jobs. If the college connects with more industries, placement can get better.
Campus Life was fun
Overall the college infrastructure was pretty decent equipped with all the primary facilities, well maintained laboratories, library facilities and WiFi, the hostel were also good, equipped with mostly all the modern and advance facilities
I studied masters in microbiology because I am more into clinical research and management the staff and professors were all supportive and help me through out my academic year curriculum was all upto date and included all the recent developments in the field and what I studied indeed made me job ready
The placement my college has provided was good they really bring the top and well known companies during placement offers like cipla, Lupin, TCS etc. about 75 percent of students placed in that perticular year the height package was 4.6 LPA. Placement process was smooth and college was supportive
The course coated me 35 thousand a year excluding the miscellaneous charges. Yeah I'm getting my money's worth. I gt a great job offer after completion of the degree
The campus was pretty decent, worst part I would say be the office and admin support during application filling and document related stuff, there's play area outdoor as well as indoor so that is engaging. It is located in a safer area and and it manage emergencies
I really had a great time studying here, the environment and exposure I get it from here is pretty nice, get to learn alot
This is the best college I ever visited. The college campus is designed to keep students peaceful while learning new things. Modernity is properly combined with the technology. The surrounding is rich in environmental beauty.
Chemistry being my favourite subject and having such a great thoughtful lecturers I am really happy. Everyday is a new chapter to learning. I also got internship in IIT Bombay while being in second semester itself.
The placement cell is outstanding and placement coordinators always offers their support and guidance as and when required. The placement ratio is low but good as compared to other colleges because placements has been recently started in our college.
Campus life is the beauty of what we're experiencing. Canteen food is the favorite thing of every new comer. Every programme from induction to farewell is organised by the seniors and it's always a bash!!
