B.Sc-Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry - Batch of 2019-01-01
Academics
Teachers are experienced and helpful, especially in physics and chemistry. They explain concepts well and give notes. The course follows RTM Nagpur University syllabus, with regular tests and practicals. Many students top university exams from here. Maths classes have good problem-solving sessions. But sometimes, lectures feel rushed, and there's less focus on real-world applications. Labs are good, but equipment could be updated. It's solid for basics, but you might need extra coaching for competitive exams like IIT JAM.
College Infra
The college has decent labs for physics, chemistry, and maths experiments. There's a big library with many books and journals, plus sports grounds for cricket and football. Classrooms are okay, but some are old and need better AC. The cafeteria serves simple food like samosas and tea, but it's crowded during breaks. Wi-Fi is available but slow in some areas. Overall, it's functional for studies, but not as fancy as newer colleges. Could use more modern updates like better hostels for outstation students.
Campus Life
Campus is lively with events like science fairs, cultural fests, and sports days. Students from different areas mix well, making friends easy. There's a gym and auditorium for seminars. Compared to private colleges, it's a steal, especially with scholarships for SC/ST. Library and sports are free to use. But there are extra costs for books and events sometimes. Overall, it's worth it for local students aiming for government jobs or further studies, but if you want fancy amenities, it might not feel premium.
