The college infrastructure is average like most of the Delhi University colleges but many new things are under construction like library is getting bigger, a new reading room, and an auditorium. There is also a lift in the new building for physically challenged people.
The teachers here are really helpful and supportive, one can easily develop good bonds with the teachers. I am doing Bcom from this college and the faculty is really nice but not that good at teaching I must say. We have many subjects like Investing in Stock market, Computer Applications in Business etc. which are updated and required in this competitive field.
Placements here are really good with an average of 5LPA and going as high as 21.5 LPA. for bcom and bcom hons. students. Placement cell of the college is also fine which brings many internship opportunities for students every year.
College is a 100% value for money with a fee ranging from 12k-18k for most of the courses. Your college life and exposure will make that worth it. Getting placed at 12LPA-21.5LPA after paying 15k is great, isn't it?
You will get to experience a good college life here. The exposure is very good and the faculty is very friendly. If you are from the upcoming batches it means that you are going to experience more new things as many new things are under construction.
The college infrastructure is good. It has a vast campus with greenery all around. The canteen of the college is best. It has tasty and healthy food. It is not expensive. The Library is very big and have a large number of books. There is a good wifi connection in the college too.
The academic is average. As the curriculum is outdated it requires certain modification. The faculty is experienced and not at all strict. Here students are chilled and cope with the subjects and their passion.
The quality of placements is also average. There are only few students who get on campus offers. Though students are prepared to grab offers from off campus or to achieve success in their passion and follow what they want.
The fees is very less. It's around 16k per year.
The campus life is very joyful and relaxed. The campus is vast with good facilities and its a enjoyable moment in campus.
A good college with good campus life.
Sri Venkateswara College,University of Delhi has all the necessary resources which students need to procced with. All classes are equiped with projector for smart class, Huge library which has thousands of books for student need and they are well maintained. Living space is clean and food is very hygienic.
I studied Bachelor's degree in Zoology Hons. Teachers were really good in their own field which enthrall us by their knowledge. They taught dry lab practicals in a wet lab manner. Curriculum of study is really good which covers almost all the subjects whoch student will come across in higher studies also amd this curriculum and teachers teaches with higher efficiencies helped student to get into jobs.
In Science courses, placement is hard to get in same field job. But it is really good for arts and commeece students. Because placement cell is there and they organize events for the students to help them finding jobs.
My course fee per year around 13K and trust me It's worth it. Because when you notice what kind of personality you are getting after completing the course. You will be blessed. So try to.listen to your prof. And do as per them and follow the procedure it will definently help you in developing your personality.
Campus life is really awesome locstion is satya niketan which is full of cafes and students. It's really safe inside and outside of campus.
Spread across 15 acres of land, Sri Venkateswara College has set up facilities and infrastructure that completely focused on enriching the overall growth of the student. Sri Venkateswara College has set up all the basic amenities as well as the infrastructure that an educational institution requires. the students can avail facilities such as the library, ICT, Bioinformatics Centre, medical room, banking facilities, cafeteria.
Sri Venkateswara College, popularly known as Venky) ranks among top colleges of DU and the best co-ed college in South campus. Faculty is excellent in terms of qualifications, experience, research and behaviour. The curriculum is updated and includes ll recent developments in the field.
I ama first year student pursuing Bcom hons. According to me The Placement Cell ,SVC. Is active and doing their best to provide us internship opportunities. For Economics and Commerce graduates you see companies like EY Deloitte KPMG etc. Highest salary package offered was ₹15LPA. Average salary offered was 5-6 LPA.
My fees for Bcom hons is around 13000/annum which is preety cheap and affordable. I feel what I am getting is worth money.
the campus life is happening. Satya niketan market is just opposite to the college gate. QDs, BYD, Pizza Hut, Keventers and many more. college’s cultural fest “Nexus” is a huge crowd puller. Nexus is one of the best cultural fest in DU.
Since, I haven't been to college yet but I have heard that the facilities like classroom, canteen, playground etc. are of very good quality. Hopefully, will be able to enjoy the cool infrastructure of our college as soon as everything becomes normal.
The teachers are highly educated and are very helpful. They try to assist the students in the best possible way. Unfortunately, we aren't able to study from them in offline classes because the experience would have been different then.
As heard from our seniors as well as having friends in the Placement Cell of our college, the placements are nice. There are many students who are able to get placed in their desired firm. Hopefully, the situation remains same when I would be graduating.
The fees for the college is economical. It can be said as 1000/month on an average which is affordable by most of the students.
In terms of infrastructure SVC is good. I keep it a 4 star. There we have good airy classrooms ,auditorium, gardens, newly built basket ball court. Also there is one bank. Talking about hostel, it is also good but allowed to only those living at a far distance from Delhi. ICT service is good though sometimes there are bit of connection issues though the staff is really cooperative. In labs I feel there is lack of proper instrumentation based on my personal experience.
In terms of academic life its really the best college to pursue with. Initially people have a mindset that Venky is in south campus, but I can proudly say its South ka Stephen. It holds true in every sense. Professors are really cooperative and help us to get into research at undergraduate level. If you love chemistry I really recommend you to got for SVC.
For placements , it is entirely based on your interests. The placement cell is really active and a good number of students are placed every year but most of them belongs to commerce background or the ones who switches from science into the corporate world. There are no appreciable placements for science students from college. But this does not mean you stop your hustle. Go give it a shot and try to place from outside the college placement drives.
DU charges very less fees according to the quality of teaching it provides to us. My course merely charges me INR 14 k approx per year which is almost negligible for the experience I am gaining through it. I feel its totally worth it.
About my personal on ground short campus life ( due to pandemic ) it was an amazing experience to be at. Science students love to spend their free time in foyer and front lawn area. Boys usually go to cricket grounds. Dog lovers really have good choice over to play with dogs of Venky. Talking about teachers and all they are really cooperative. There is equal opportunity cell in the college to help maintaining equality in college .
Yes overall you will love it. It has amazing set of socities that give you exposure to various domains .
Since I have not visited my college due to the pandemic going on, I would not be the right person to tell about the infrastructure. But, on the professional note, I can say that the faculty here is very well knowledgeable and can provide you with the best academic experience.
I'm studying Bachelors in Science focused in Statistics and I think the teachers of my department put very much efforts in teaching the entire curriculum. Talking about the curriculum, according to me, it gets updated on a frequent note and comes up with the recent developments in that field. On an ending note, apart from the academics, the college also provides with the extra curricular activities along with internships, which helps oneself in being industry-ready.
The placement cell of our college really works hard for the students to get their dream jobs and internships. They also organise webinars and similar stuff so that the students don't miss out on stuff.
A particular course in this college costs around 10-12k per year and it's definitely worth it to invest in that much money for a great experience in this college.
There are many societies and clubs in the college which enhances one's campus life.
Even though being the batch that had to study through the COVID pandemic, we got the chance to visit the college a few times and I was really happy with the campus. It has a playground with areas to play sports and a good auditorium as well. I personally found the classes really well maintained. Also the college canteen serves mouth-watering south Indian dishes that are just too good and definitely live up to the hype.
I am studying B.Sc Life Sciences , which is an inter-disciplinary course, so we have teachers from all three departments, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. I took admission in this college only after confirming that the studies are good and they definitely are. Teachers are really keen on teaching and also constantly motivate us to keep working to understand science.
The placement cell of our college is very active. throughout the year we get many internship opportunities, by "many", I mean 10 each day. So that is a very good chance for whoever seeking it. Placements for third year graduates are really good as well.
My course fees was Rs14500/annum and I think it was really cheap and the college has scholarships too for people with the highest scores. The academics are really good and are value-for-money!
campus life is just the best at Venky. You'll be dazzled by all the societies that we have. the culture of the college is really really good and one can definitely find their kind of people when you socialise. I am a part of the quiz society- Conquiztadors, and it has been an amazing experience for me.
I absolutely am glad that I joined this college and get to call this my alma mater. The environment is pretty healthy and you won't regret your choice of coming into this college.
The college has a well equipped IT Lab(with air conditioners), different buildings for all streams. The labs have well maintained apparatus and properly preserved specimens. The classrooms and washrooms are well kept alongwith a clean corridor, medical room and canteen with pocket friendly rates. However, it lacks proper chairs. The area has one playground and two gardens. The wifi is accessible everywhere and the library provides with all the academic books.
The college has several known alumnis like Sriti Jha, Rishabh Pant, Rajiv Makhni etc. It is considered as on one of the top colleges of DU for all the streams. The professors are friendly and willing to help. The exposure is immense with several seminars, departmental fests and Annual Research Internship (SRI VIPRA) for all courses. Its NIRF 2020 Rank is 14 and provides with UGC and PGC too.
The Placement Cell at SVC is one of the best in the entire DU circuit. With recruiting companies like DE Shaw, Wipro, Accenture and Deloitte etc offering several positions to the students every year. With over 35+ Companies registering for the recruitment session in the Internship Fair conducted this year. The highest package given was 19.5 LPA in the year 2020-2021.
The courses cost around 10K-20K per year with exclusive of the Examination Fee which estimates around 1K-2K every session. Since it is a Government College and has a reasonable fee and a reserved quota for EWS, it definitely is value for money.
With a footfall of around 1000 people, Nexus the Annual Fest is one of the most thrilling thing about Venky. Being at the centre of Delhi it stays near the much hyped Satya Niketan, Sarojini Nagar, Khan Market and other spots DUites hang at. The campus is accessible by all modes of vehicle, while metro station Sir M Vishveshwariah Moti Bagh being the closest. The sports facility are excellent too with the faculty even organizing an inter-department cricket and football tournament.
The College Societies are a great way to experience an amazing campus life.
Sri Venkateswara College has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. It has it's own library, basketball court, canteen, auditorium, labs, classrooms etc. The infrastructure of the college is well maintained
The college is known for it's highly educated and experienced teaching staff. The teachers make it a point to focus on each and every student. Our curriculum is regularly updated and the teachers take care of the recent developments.
Our college has one of the best placement cells in Delhi University. Reputed companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Mckinsey, Bain etc come to campus to recruit students. Many interns are also hired by the companies on a regular basis.
My course costed about 16k per year which is more than a reasonable cost for the facilities and benefits provided by the college.
Our college is close to the durgabai metro stations which makes commute very easy. There's a variety of societies and the students can engage in activities that interest them the most.
Hands down the best college in DU!

Hello,
Yes, with a rank of 12004 in AP EAPCET and BC-D category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in B.Pharmacy at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
The closing rank for BC-D category in B.Pharmacy at SVU is usually much higher than your rank, so your chances are strong. You can expect a seat in the first or second round of counselling.
Hope it helps !
With a 29,000 rank in AP EAMCET under BC-B category, getting into CSE or ECE at Sri Venkateswara University (SVUCE) is unlikely, as those branches typically require much better ranks.
However, you have a strong chance for Mechanical Engineering there. In past years, the BC-B closing rank for Mechanical at SVUCE was around 83,000. You may also have a chance for EEE or Civil engineering.
If you need help with filling your choices during counselling or want to look at other colleges, just let me know.
