The placement opportunities at Sri Venkateswara College are decent overall, although they vary considerably depending on the course and the student's individual profile. The college has a dedicated Placement Cell that brings companies and internship opportunities to campus. There are opportunities in areas such as finance, consulting, sales, human resources, analytics and other entry-level roles. For B.Sc. (Hons.) Statistics, the number of direct placement opportunities is comparatively limited, and students interested in data science, analytics or similar technical fields may need to apply independently off-campus as well. The college's 2023–24 placement report recorded 175 placement offers overall, along with 863 internship offers, with an average package of ₹5.64 LPA and a median package of ₹5.48 LPA. I would say the placement situation is satisfactory rather than exceptional. The college does provide a platform and opportunities, but students should not depend entirely on campus placements and should work on their skills, internships, projects and off-campus applications to improve their chances. The availability and quality of opportunities can also differ significantly between courses.overall its fine but we do have to learn many skills ourselves and not be dependent on the college entirely

The average package varies every year but it's most of the time within 4-5.5LPA for statistics students.As being one of oldest college in DU and being 3 rank for bsc stats hons venky brings up grt opportunities for their students! moreover, venky is famous for it's commerce dep. and statistics department.
